Clothes Dryer lining
The lining of my clothes dryer is peeling after only 15 months of use. I've had many appliances in my day and have never had one peel!

Very Noisy, Cheaply Made: Very Disappointing
I usually don't give reviews or complain, but this is an exception. We installed the dryer as per directions and when we started it up. We thought it was defective: It was incredibly noisy! Everyone in the house agreed the noise was excessive, much louder than any other dryer we've experience. Also, the lint trap handle is very cheaply made and looked like it would break very easily, especially after repeated uses. Overall quality was poor. We bought it on-line with a store pick up (20 miles away) and now we have to repackage it for return and drive it back: A real pain. Be forewarned: This is a lousy dryer!

Check your dryer before you bring it home.
I bought dryer #1, brought it home and carefully unloaded it and brought it in house. I cut the box off to find control panel, broken off on one end and a dent in the top of the dryer. The box was not damaged, but a dent on the dryer inside? I returned this dryer. The store only had one other, the floor model, so I brought it home and plugged it in. It sounded like a lawn mower running in my house. I called the 24 hr service to be told it was defective and to return it and "maybe #3 would be a charm". I called my sears store the next morning, let them listen to the dryer, and they said it was my electic source. I called my electrician. He fixed the dryer, it was not my electricity at all. He opened up the dryer and the inside components were not where they should be....like this dryer had been dropped. He got it running. When I buy a new item, I was excited to get something new, not 2 damaged dryers.

I would not buy this dryer!!!
I have this dryer and I have never been satisfied with it. It does not completly dry clothes on the auto sensing even when set on More dry. I have to set it twice to get clothes dry sometimes taking up to 2 hours for one load.

Kenmore electric dryer
This does do a good job drying - I've only had it for 2 weeks so I can;t comment on how it does over a long period of time. It is quiet and seems to be very efficient. I've always been pleased with Kenmore products. My last dryer was about 20 years old and the matching washer is still plugging along.
