    Kenmore 600 Top Load Washing Machine is great July 23, 2010

    This is the fourth Kenmore washing machine we have owned in 30 years.  Our family of 5 use the washing machine daily.  I love the Triple Action agitator and the different wash cycles (heavy duty to delicate).  The newest feature I like is the tap water feature.  The spin cycle is great whether I am washing a full load of towels or washing clothes on gentle.  We are very happy with the choice and I would recommend this product for anyone who would like a great washing machine for the price.

    PIECE OF JUNK June 10, 2010

    I have had this junk for 1 year.  It is NOISY, and mine has the "noise quieting" package that is no longer available.  It does not spin the towels, etc. as dry as my old washer (26 years old), the agitation beats the clothes (might as well use a rock), the "hand and delicate" wash is more like what  a normal wash agitation should be.  The water temperature always uses hot water dumped, except the tap cold. The hot comes in then the cold, it is not combined; put whatever can be under hot water under the water inlet.   The Hot cycle is really warm, unless you turn off the cold water, then you can have basic hot water.  Sears has been out on these problems, they say it is what it is.  I would have returned this, unfortunately my husband died soon after this purchase and I didn't get to it during the return period.  I wish I had put money into repairing my old washer.

    This washer does a great job. I don't have any problems with the noise. I am glad that I bought the extended warranty though because the agitator fell off, and I had to call them to put it back on. The barrel is a little bit bigger than it can hold. If you put too much in, it will make the barrel swing too much causing a thumping sound. I know how much I can fill it now, so I am used to it. Looks are deceiving-because it looks like it will hold more. Over all, it is a good washer, but get the extended warranty just in case because it covers everything.

    You can't go wrong with any Sears product! We purchased this from a couple who purchased this directly from Sears. It was only 3 years old at that time. We have had it now door almost two years and never had a single thing go wrong with it. It I'd so query and really gets our clothes clean! It leaves no residue and drains completely. The hoses that drain into the drain comes with a bracket so there is no way for it to drop put of the drain and the temperatures are accurate. It is nice to have the additional rinse cycle also. All in all, this is a great product that will last for a long time and will never leave you hanging!

    Love this washing machine. It is deep enough and large enough that it will wash several pairs of jeans in one load. It also cleans the clothes very well. I use it almost every day and it has stood up to all the loads of wash i throw into it. I would recommend this to anyone in need of a washer
