    wonderful dehumidifier: 70 pint unit October 12, 2008

    I purchased the Kenmore 70 pint dehumidifier yesterday and it has removed so much moisture from my lower level basement. It is quiet while operating and has terrific features. I am impressed with the quality of the unit and the way it is solving our moisture problem. I will be purchasing the drain hose option this weekend. With the size of our area we chose the larger model...70 pint...it's worth the price!

    button controls stopped within one year August 01, 2010

    Touch buttons failed within one year..returned for 2nd dehumidifier which worked well for a little over a year...touch buttons failed again...I can't shut off with out pulling out water bucket and then unplugging dehumidifier and replugging in dehumidifier to use it later.  I can no longer adjust humidity level.  I will live with it for now because only use it about 2 months out of the year.  Will only purchase dehumidifier with knobs next time.

    this is an alright dehumidifier it does what it should do it cleans the air real good and its nice that everything on it is electronic thats always a plus i can say i have been breathing better now so it is doing it's job and it's real good on the electonic it only made it go up 0.50 a month and thats being on all the time
