    Good washer--works well December 31, 2008

    I asked Sears for a relatively low-cost, very reliable washer, and they sold me this one. The salesmen said they get very few complaints about it, that it's a good, reliable machine. I've used it for six months and have been happy with it. I'm selling it only because it uses 40 gallons of water on the biggest load/longest cycle. I'm on a well and often have water shortages, so I'm being forced to go to a high-efficiency washer. The washer is relatively quiet (certainly better than older models), and has no vibration problem.

    Disappointed March 27, 2009

    I just received my new washer from replacing my old Kenmore Elite and what a let down. When it goes into the spin cycle it makes such a racket and shakes that much that it moves the washer out of it's spot on the floor. This is definitely going back. All my appliances are from Sears and I've never had problems before, so I'm assuming it's this model.

    I have to say that maybe once or twice that my clothes was wash properly and didn't find any detergent left overs.I thought that maybe it was my fault for overloading the washer but even when i loaded with 3 or 4 shirts I will find something not wash 100% and i even change detergent to Tide thinking that it was my cheap one that i was using and that didn't stop the problem, until I purchase another Kenmore washer a bigger and more capacity and all my troubles with unwashed clothes were gone. I guess it was just my luck.

    The quiet pack 11 sounds more like world war 11. The drum is out of alignment and it shakes so much that the washer actually moves out of position.

    My machine vibrates so much it broke a vase located in the next room also - my gentle cycle which is the one I use most runs a few minutes on wash - stops for awhile starts up again and then stops again. I had my old kenmore several years and loved it - ran great on on all cycles - was quiet -

    I can't believe how bad this washer is. After setting it up and carefully connecting everything and even balancing it. We loaded up our first load of wash, a normal load. The agitation was ok...but when it got to the spin cycle, we had to lift the lid to try to distribute the load, because it was wobbling and banging all over the place. I had to open the lid several times to distribute the load so that it would spin correctly. I've neve had to do that with other washers. This washer is not worth the money I paid and i would not recommend it to anyone. This washer is going back and Im getting something else.
