    Lightweight and Strong July 23, 2010

    We purchased this vacuum about a year ago and my wife could not be happier. It moves around the house like a puppy dog following her. Its very easy to vacuum under the beds where the boogie monster and the dust bunnies hide. Its nice to have the attachments as they work on the little things that we like to keep clean - like the return air vents on our HVAC system and the blinds on our windows. The main beater bar works well and tells us when we are hitting a dirty spot - even though we don't see the dirt.  So far, after over a year of use we have had absolutely no problems with the vacuum or the accessories, and my wife uses the vacuum at least twice a week on both carpeting and hardwood floors - she even uses it in the kitchen on the ceramic tile.

    Vacuum Very Over Rated May 18, 2010

    Vacuum has great suction, bare floor attachment is poorly designed, and workmanship is overall average which for the price of this machine is a sad thing.  I am on my second power head as the flimsy plastic on the bottom across the leveing bar cracks and then you can no longer adjust for carpet height.  The replacement power head is cracking in the same place in less than a year.  This is my first canister in about 20 years and I had high hopes in using it on hardwood floors.  I have bought a separate wand and floor brush for my tile and hardwood.  I would not recommend this vacuum to anyone.

    Ive owned this vaccum now for 6 months. I previously owned an Electrolux and if it wasnt for the bag size of this Vacuum I would still hands down be loyal to the electrolux.

    this vacuum is one of the better vauums i have tried compared to most others? I am Not a fan of the stand-up types at all because I need to get in corners and under furniture with ease.

    Im okay with this Vacuum because of bag space, suction and design, theres just one thing I dislike abt it, and that is being able to pull the  adjustments of the handle. waaay to frustrating. why cant it jus be simple..push-on pull-off!

    otherwise..its pretty good.

    Had my last Kenmore cannister vacuum for 30 years. My adult daughter threw it in the dumpster because someone gave us a Dyson. Aaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!!

    Extremely unhappy with the Dyson, I looked at Consumer R****ts. This is their highest rated vacuum. There's been a few improvements since my last purchase. This unit can suck the chrome off of a bumper. It has a power head for the stairs that works great. I'm REALLY pleased with how quiet it is. I bought it as a 'refurb' unit, but couldn't be more pleased. Yet another top quality Kenmore product that will probably outlast me at this point.

    floor attachement has very poor suction, also scratches wood floors. I brought this right back. if you want this vac for just carpets, then it is excellent
