    I bought this freezer on line to replace an old chest freezer. I don't have a lot of time so I did my research on line and read all the reviews on any of the options I was considering. So for anyone else in my shoes who doesn't want to have to visit the stores I can honestly say that this is a great buy. It works great, holds more food than my old freezer and it is very easy to see exactly what I have. I throughly recommend it and it is energy efficient which I wanted.

    Not worth fixing March 22, 2008

    I would not recommend buying this freezer. Six months after the warranty had expired, a communication error message appeared on the digital display on the door. After paying the service trip charge, I was given an estimate to replace the wire harness to the circuit board. The cost will be 3/4 of the price we paid for the entire freezer. After reading some of the other reviews, it sounds like this is a repeating issue with this model and others with the same features.

    this is a good freezer .it has so many storage space .easy to get food in and out . and love the lock they have on it keeps from small kids playing it. it really keeps food good to .has a helpful alarm to let u know if u didnt close door all way .over all recommand it .

    Nice freezer, turned it on and it got to temp in a very short time. Only thing I dislike is the bottom basket. It should be on wheels or have wheels and a runner, as it is it just slides out but im afraid once its loaded with items it will scratch the bottom.
