Wish it were white also! I will be building these into the cabinets soon, so I have them but they are not running yet. I am excited for the space though! I did buy the warranty to be safe though because I heard these can be trouble some if you get a bad one!

I purchased 2 sets of all freezer/fridges for my home and cottage. Initially very happy with all the room. Appliances are noisy but tolerable. Now after 3 yrs both crisper shelves broken, 1 crisper bin split, 1 door shelf broke, freezer bin supports broken etc. Basically do not put anything on the shelf that supports the crisper bins or on the bottom bin in the freezer. Poor quality manufacturing. Now gasket has come loose at bottom of frigde. Replacement parts for 1 refrigerator cost over $300. Cottage fridge/freezer only used 2-3 months of the year and same damage as in city. Problem is the supports that attach shelf to wall of fridge are plastic and break easily. I'm looking to find a metal shelf that will fit in the screw holes and I'll leave the bins sitting on the bottom. Very disappointed in the quality. For the price......Kenmore should do way better!

just bought this fridge and freezer side by side. Love the look, lots of room to hold the food. I was told that it would make lots of ice. realy cool...... ok! when? make sure to have plenty of ice cube trays on hand, other wise a family of 3 will run out real quick. :-(   My old side by side would kick b*%$ on this new one.  

<span>We have this freezer and the matching fridge...have had it for not quite 5 years now and the freezer has quit on us 5 times now.  Sears is finally replacing it as we had purchased the master protection on it and this final time it was unrepairable.  But now the look of it has changed slightly and the door handles do not match and the new freezer is taller than the old fridge.  so the ventlike pieces that go across the top and bottom do not sit correctly on the units.  LOOKS LIKE CRAP!!!  So now since i bot a lemon from Sears and it has taken them sooo long to finally replace it i am stuck with the pieces not matching or having to shell out another $2000 to make it right again.  Will NEVER purchase another appliance from Sears because of this.  it has been a nightmare!!  Also their "protection agreement" will only cover $250 food loss once a year so when the freezer died twice in 1 year i was out that much more $$.  This issue has cost me well over $1000 in food loss over the 5 times...Their consolation to me was a packet of coupons for savings on home improvements.  Our house is less than 5 years old so i doubt those will do me any good.....I am DONE with Sears!!</span>

Do not buy this freezer. It is a nice looking freezer, but I have had it for 5 years and I have lost my food in it twice. The door went out the first time and needed to be replace and now the same thing has happened two years later! I originally had a chest freezer that lasted twenty years and I had not one problem with it, I only replaced it to upgrade to a new appliance that I thought would stand the test of time. Did my Kenmore Elite stand up to its name? Absolutely not, since my problems started after two years. If you have purchased this freezer and have not had any problems with this lemon...Buyer beware!!!!! If you plan to purchase this freezer, you can expect problems,

I used to own a side-by-side refrigerator/freezer and hated it. The refrigeration side was cramped and it was frustrating trying to find items. I have a separate stand-up freezer so getting the freezer-less refrigerator made sense. I love this refrigerator. It has so much room and I don't have to dig to find items anymore. There are plenty shelves are they are easily adjustable. And I love the LED lighting inside. It looks so clean and beautiful. The outside is plain and simple but elegant and looks great in my kitchen. Make sure you pay attention to the dimensions. This unit is a little taller than my last refrigerator so I had to adjust my cabinets above. I wish I would have replaced my old refrigerator with this unit years ago. I will be moving in a few years. My next house will have this refrigerator and the matching freezer side-by-side next to each other! They will look amazing together and it will be so nice to have easy access in both my freezer and refrigerator. The refrigerator is very quiet and easy to use. There's an LED readout of the temperature and you can adjust it with an up or down push button. It even has an alarm to tell you if you left the door open or the temperature inside is too high. It has a charcol filter you keep odors down (alarms when to change filter). Did I mention I love this fridge?

Had the freezer just long enough to get it full food (2 months - mostly meat). Went to retrieve an item this weekend and contents were warm. I had to throw all the contents in the garbage. Kenmore does not offer an compensation for lost contents. They offered to repair the freezer, why risk more lost food?

I have this freezer and the matching refrigerator. I love them both.  The one thing that took me by surprize is that when you close the freezer it seem to have a vacuum closure.  You have to wait a few seconds before you can open it again or you will drag it across the kitchen.
