    This microwave is awesome! February 21, 2011

    This is our second Kenmore Microwave Oven. The first one lasted for 23 years! Microwaves have changed much over the years. This one has a built in turntable and is also a convection oven. You can do one, the other, or a combination of the two. The interior is all stainless and is a breeze to clean. The controls are so easy to use. It tells you what to do next! Love it!!

    The microwave doesn't heat well. Kenmore Elite Microwave/Convec February 16, 2011

    I just bought this to replace an old microwave that wasn't to powerful I had at home. This one is the same, or has even less power than the one I planned to replace. I now will return it, can't see taking 2 minutes to heat up a cup of water which should normally take one minute. I plan to return it and don't another one. Will just go with a regular microwave.

    I bought this microwave as a replacement when my mother accidentally set my microwave on fire (don't ask). I was initially hesitant about the convection feature but after using the feature for the first time I was impressed with how easy it was to use and how well it cooked the food. As for the microwave itself, it does a wonderful job of quick defrosting, and it heats up my leftovers fairly evenly, so overall I am happy with this microwave. It is also quiet to operate and nicely styled, making it an attractive feature of my kitchen.

    On 2/24/2012 I purchased this oven to replace an old microwave. I don't think this oven heats up to set temperatures. There is less than 1/8 inch from the bottom of the oven to the counter top. On 3/25/2012 I cooked a pizza in it, and the bottom of the oven got so hot it cracked my counter top very badly. When I moved the oven to check under it, the counter was so hot it nearly burned my hand! The top and sides were also uncomfortably hot. I don't think this is a well designed product.

    This is without question the best microwave we have ever owned. Easy to use programming, roomy cooking space, and just a very nice attractive appliance that would enhance the beauty of your kitchen. This microwave is powerful and cooks food quickly and evenly leaving you with less time in the kitchen waiting for your food to get done. Everything from re-heating leftovers to preparing that Sunday roast this is the microwave to have.
