    Looks nice, washes and cleans well March 31, 2010

    I did a lot of research on **************** and reading reviews before buying a dishwasher.  We first purchased a Bosch- they are always rated highest on ****************.  We were very disappointed with this in that it didn't dry the dishes, especially plastic (which we use a lot with 2 young children).  We returned it for this Kenmore Elite model and so far are happy with it.  It has a nice sleek stainless steel look, washes and dries dishes well.  It is quiet, although not quite as quiet as the Bosch, but I would rather have it a touch louder than have to hand dry all my dishes!

    off to a bad start April 30, 2010

    Easy installation,quiet and it seems to clean dishes well (have only run it twice) but the indicator lights do not work. Repairman was here today but parts need to be ordered, so he will have to come back. Low points for first time fix rate. I am disappointed that it needed repair within 2 weeks of purchase.

    Very quiet,Cleans extremely well,Well-designed control panel,Excellent Very Pleased,fairly quiet

    My husband and I spent many hours online and in store comparing and contrasting dishwashers. We desperately needed something that would clean dishes completely and be quiet at the same time. We thought it was fairly pricey when starting our search for the perfect dishwasher but after owning it for 6 months, having 0 problems, and having the lowest decibels of any dishwasher we looked at, we are very happy for the quality and would have paid twice as much for a dishwasher from anywhere else. This model has 2 racks that are also adjustable which has been very beneficial. It is extremely quiet which is a must for those of us with children. I have never had food stuck on or spots on the dishes when the cycle is finished. One of the things I also really like about the dishwasher is that there is an eco-friendly setting which allows you to be conservative and not using an excess amount of water and energy. Great product!

    My Kenmore Elite Ultra HE dishwasher started leaking 11 months after I purchased it.  I could tell that it was leaking because my new hardwood floor started buckling.  I had it serviced under warranty, and the repairman replaced the pump.  Approximately 6 months later, it began leaking again.  The repairman came and tightened the screw on the new pump assembly where the seal was leaking.  He said that he thought that it had not been tightened enough when the new pump was installed.

    Approximately 3 months later, the dishwasher is leaking from the same spot intermittently.  We have a pan underneath it to collect the water and protect the floor.

    Sears refuses to replace the dishwasher because the second leak happened more than 90 days after the pump was replaced, making the repair out of warranty.

    Sears clearly is following the letter of the law, not the spirit.

    My choice will be to take my business elsewhere in the future.

    Recommends using a rinse aid, so an extra step is involved but it's quiet, sleek, and huge.  Stainless interior won't rust.  Door does come down very far so you're nearly laying it on the floor but that is why there is so much room inside!

    This dishwasher works great. Very quiet. Only had it a few days but works WAY better than the one we had. Not sure about the racks though they are kinda flimsy but the quietness makes up for it.
