    Pros:
    easy to use,quiet

    I bought the Kenmore Elite washer and dryer together about 4 months ago. I LOVE both. I love how much laundry it can hold. I love that I can sanitize and steam refresh just about anything in my house that needs cleaned. When I wash and dry the bed linens, I go ahead and sanitize the pillows at the same time and its quick and easy. When I dial in the clothes cycle that I want and the time til done display shows a certain time, it often is done in half that time, so that is a plus because I was worried it was going to take the time noted on the display. This is my first front loader and with the pedestal, no more bending for me which is great on my back. Before we bought this dryer, we went straight to our **************** membership online and found that it was rated high and with all the features we wanted. I use the wrinkle guard and static shield functions with nearly every load I dry. I like the dryer rack for my delicate sweaters. I can't say enough good things about this dryer. Invest in the time to research like we did and good luck.

    My wife and I pruchased the Kenmore HE3 washer and dryer for our new home in April 2009.  At the time, we were looking for a highly-efficient front loader with a steam feature (which was new to the market then).  We could not be happier with our purchase.  We got a good sale price, plus got a $150 rebate from the county for purchasing an energy efficient and water conserving model.  What's more, the set look fabulous.  I definitely recommend the HE3 to anyone looking.

    which I gave 5 stars. I held back reviewing this dryer due to the fact the jeans cycle didn't go to medium high heat as the manual stated and the load of jeans didn't dry. The store manager was willing to replace it, however we decided to get it repaired. First the main electronic board was replaced and that didn't resolve the issue. So, the service people recommended we get a replacement. We did and it came with the same defect. In todays world of electronics we decided to keep this 2nd dryer and service ordered the "right interface part " (seems there have been issues with this part). Today it was installed with no correction in the "jeans cycle temperature". Service has been excellent and the dryer works well with the exception of the "jeans cycle". It's the principal of it all. We paid for all the features to work Sears will be made aware of this problem.
