    Quiet, Clean & Cute July 29, 2008

    I replaced my Kenmore TL washer of 5 years with this model Jan'08. I am AMAZED by how quiet it is. I'm saving money on water every month, and water is not a premium here in SC. It is super quiet, and cleans great as well as gently. The only downside is that sometimes I find hair gathered & stuck to the bottom of the inside of the window. My clothes have less wear & tear. I love the black color. I'd recommend this pair to anyone.

    Some things in life you just expect to work. Like a washing machine. This washer was just OK. Day in and day out, it would acceptably get the laudry clean using minimal water and minimal energy. Occasionally it would "bite" a BB sized hole in a tee shirt. On it's five year anniversary the computer module failed. Replacement cost for the part was high enough that it made more sense to buy a whole new washer. I don't know about you, but I expect 15-20 years out of a washing machine; a five year life is unacceptable.

    We have had this washer for two years and have already had two major repairs (both after the warranty). The first time it sucked a sock into the drain line ($100+) and now the motor is dead ($340). I guess you have to buy an extended warranty with this poor quality of construction.

    I love this machine. It gets my clothes clean! I also have the matching dryer. The spin cycle spins so well the clothes come out almost dry. I would really recommend this pair. For the money it is a great buy!
