    you just need to learn to use it the way it was meant to be used April 08, 2011

    this is not a regular washer. yes it has a small capacity. the person who commented that it took 3hrs to do a wash doesn't know how to use it. I've had this unit for over a yr. A wash cycle takes 50min. If your load is not balanced (ie the person doing sheets only, or towels only) the spin cycle may be extended. This can be simply avoided by putting in a couple of small items that won't be clumped all together like sheets (add in small towels, socks etc). The spin cycle is so very efficient, once it's done washing, I am able to usually air dry things (even jeans!). The dry cycle does take longer than a regular gas/electric dryer, but it also uses much less energy. I hardly notice an increase to my water nor my utility bills. I can also put in a load the night before and when I get up it's all dried and ready for me to wear my clothes. Read the manuals and learn to do laundry in a more efficient way. The old washer/dryer that takes up a lot of space and energy isn't the only way to do laundry.

    More than three hours to wash one pair of queen size sheets March 18, 2011

    I was attracted to this item because it is a ventless washer dryer but it is far too slow to use. Firstly realize it is a low capacity front load machine 2.7 cubic feet so you can never do a large load of laundry -- you can always only do a small load. It is ventless and condenses when it dries. It takes an extended amount of time to dry. However, in addition to requiring a lot of time to dry it also takes a very long time to wash. After having it installed I washed one load that contained one flat sheet and one fitted sheet. Please realize that that one set of sheets took the entire capacity of this machine. Even if I had had several sets of queen sized sheets, I only could have washed them one set at a time because of the smaller capacity. That one set of sheets -- one flat sheet and one fitted sheet took over three hours. I couldn't imagine using this appliance. It is awful. I have contacted Sears and I am returning this item. Please also note this is an expensive appliance to purchase over $1600. I would discourage anyone from purchase this appliance.

    This is one of the items Sears could have in for those that are incapable to have a basement and cannot go up and down steps due to health problems and of course maybe have small area to place it. My neighbor is an elderly and enjoys hers and I wish I had one.

    Just a few days ago I had a washer and dryer stop working on me the timer on the dryer won't work and the pump in the washer won't pump the water out of the washer so I came to the sears web site and found an all in one washer and dryer and it's one of the top brand that is very well trusted

    I purhcase this product sometime ago and its one of the best product Kmart or any other store has to offer. It's a great value for the price and service. Buy it and you will not be disappointed. The washer works great with no problems. Also, I would recommend it to all family members and friends.

    I was amazed and how wonderfully it washes and dries. I couldn't believe they made a combo it is awesome. I feel so unique having one and I love the LG name. How futuristic is that......just place in the washer and then no moving your items and it switches to the dryer .......
