I bought this stove 6 weeks ago and I love it! Thanksgiving was so easy. I used the bottom portion of the oven to cook my turkey in the (which had plenty of room.) and cooked my side items in the top. I have waited several years for someone to come up with a double oven that was useful...larger bottom and large top. I have six children so I needed something that could handle large pans...and this stove is perfect! I baked 20 different varities of cookies and candies. I loved baking this year! I had cookies in the bottom oven and bars cooking in the top oven. I owned a convection oven perviously and I loved it...this stove's convection oven works great also! I have already spilled and burned sauce on the stove and the stove cleans up perfect! I always make sure I clean up with the special cleaner for flat stove tops though...it really does help the next time you spill to clean up. I love not having knobs...any splatters are soo easy to clean up because its all flat...and no need to remove knobs to clean under them and over them. IIt is so nice to have just push buttons for everything..I was worried that it would be hard to control temps but its not at all. Stove is soo simple to work. The stove seems to boil water much faster than my old stove...so I did have to learn which number to set my pans at when frying because the stove does seem to be hotter...but if it really bothers me...there is a program I can go into and change how hot I want the stove to be at. ( sort of like a water heater for the water...i guess ) But I like it getting hot quickly...and have learned which setting I need to cook at for the temps I like to cook at. The stove also has settings for the front burners...you can click the setting for the larger setting for your larger pans..love love love...I need the largest frying pans available and my old stove did not have a ring to fit my pan...the ring on the right fits your larger pans..or just a regular size. The ring on the left fits your regular pans and a smaller pan...so perfect for everything. The three burners in the back fit your regular or small size pans...also just a note it is tight..but you can put all pans on all rings...the pans in the back do not get caught under anything by the controls...because they made it flat in the back so everything can fit nicely. Once you turn off the stove top it will show hs for hot spot and will not turn off until the burner has cooled..which is nice to know when the burner is still hot. The black top is nice and believe me I cook a lot and I have had no problem with scratching or clean up...you just use common sense...and not scrape pans all around unneedlessly and you can use a razor to clean up hard spots..but make sure you use the glass stove top cleaner each time you clean the top..you don't need a lot..just a little goes a long way and helps the next spill to clean up easier. My last stove was a glass top and I had it for 13 years and the top still looks super nice...and I spilled and burned lots on that glass top...e.g. making homemade strawberry jam...several times =) If you clean up the top it will always stay beautiful! The beeper for the timer is music...which you can set the volume...Once stove is preheated it plays music also and flashes the light in the upper or lower oven that you are preheating. I have taken the top rack and used it in the bottom rack also...so I could bake 3 sheets of cookies at the same time..thats how nice sized it is in the bottom...also you could use 2 racks in the upper oven and bake two sheets of cookies or buns . The blue color inside looks soo beautiful. There are two separate timers ..one for top and one for bottom oven...so that is nice too. Both ovens are self-cleaning...but only the bottom oven is a convection oven and baking oven. The top stove is big enough for my large casserole dishes and bowls...the top oven is perfect for 13x9 pans..and even the pyrex large bowl...thats how large the top actually is! The glass and stainless steel clean up beautiful...I purchased the all purpose vinegar glass cleaner..which is good for stainless steel, glass, granite etc...so I am able to spray the whole stove and clean up with one cleaner...making the whole oven looking beautiful! The Stove looks beautiful in the kitchen and I have had many comments on how gorgeous it looks!
My husband and I purchased all new LG Appliances for the kitchen, stove, refrig, microwave and diswasher in late Nov. 2011. They were delivered on Dec 7, 2011, with instructions to leave in the box since we were about to remodel our kitchen. We started working mid December, 2011 on the kitchen and while doing ourselves, it took until the 3rd week in Feb, 2012. I could not wait to use my new stove. I love to cook. The stove worked fine from the last week of Feb, 2012 until July 21, 2012 (that's 5 short months)! On July 21, 2012, I decided to clean the bottom oven. I followed instructions removing the racks, and pressed clean. It lasted about 20 minutes before popping really loud and going completely off. The stove was burning hot. My side cabinets and wall behind the stove was hot enough to burn when touched. Both ovens locked and the stove top would not work. I followed instructions to reset the range, unplugging or turning off breaker for 5 to 10 minutes and then it was suppose to reset. No, it did not work. I called LG for repair. They said you purchased from Sears, you have to call Sears for repair. Well, Sears does not do their own repairs any more, they contract it all out, so you are at the mercy of whomever they can apparently find. I had to wait from July 21 to Aug 1 for repairman to come and tell me he had to order a part. It was the thermostat that keeps the stove from getting so hot that it burns your house down. Well, the part arrived on Aug 6, but the repairman could not get here until Aug 16, almost a month later total time to wait until my stove got fixed. The stove worked while the repairman was here. Since I had initially started the cleaning process in bottom oven, I had to once again start the cleaning process. The stove worked for about 50 minutes before it popped very loud and went out the same as before with the exception that it got much hotter this time. We could also smell electrical burn smell. We had to pull it out from the wall in order to cool the wall before it caught fire. The wall, the cabintets, and especially the stove, was still hot hours later! This time, I called Sears and told them I want a new stove. They told me since it had been over 90 days, I cannot return the stove to Sear, I must call LG. I then called LG and was told I must call Sears repair again. LG says they will not even start a replacement until the repairman tells them "the stove cannot be repaired". I again called Sears repair, the same day my stove was "supposedly" repaired. Sears repair tells me I cannot call for another repair the same day they were at my house. I have to wait 24 hours for their computers to update my service. THAT'S A BUNCH OF CRAP!
Well, its now Aug. 17 (24 hrs later) and I have just called Sears repair again. I am told the first available appointment is Aug. 27. I tell them that's not acceptable and they get huffy with me and tell me they work off a "live" calendar and if I don't take that date someone else will. I have no choice, so I take the Aug. 27 appointment. DO YOU KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN ON AUG 27? I do, I will be told by the repairman that he has to order another part or part(s) and it will be another 10 to 14 days before they schedule him to put the new parts on. The repairman told me my stove has a problem, but his hands are tied. He says they want him to say four words: "It can be fixed". That way, there's no liability for them to replace it. THIS STOVE HAS NEARLY CAUSED A FIRE AT MY HOUSE TWO TIMES NOW. With service like this, no wonder Sears is about to go under! If you purchase this stove, DON'T BUY FROM SEARS, buy from ********** or ****** or somewhere you can get better repair service!

I had an old 17 year GE stove. It FINALLY gave out (thank goodness!) and when I found this stove I knew I had to have it. Two double ovens (they are almost the same size...big selling point!!), Love all the features that the ovens have..made a batch of bread usinig the "proof" feature in the 2nd oven and have decided I can't live without it!! The alarm is rather unique...but not annoying. I highly recommend this stove! I am so happy I bought it!

I love the fact that it has double ovens. It is very easy to use. It plays a little tune when it is pre-heated and when timer goes off. There are 5 burners (one is strictly for keeping things warm). I really like that. My favorite thing is that it pre-heats very quickly. The top oven pre-heats a little quicker (since it's smaller) but they are both ready in a matter of minutes. I haven't used all the functions it comes with (such as kid meals, etc.) but so far I have been very pleased with my purchase.

Purchased this range 8/2012. Top burners didn't cycle correctly and would automaticly shut off. After not being able to fix the range after 4 tries, I received a new one about the first week of NOVEMBER. The top burners get hot pretty quick but are difficult to adjust down to a simmer--I am not a fan of the digital adjusters-they take too long. The infrared Grill does a lovely job and I am super happy that both ovens can serve as a "warming drawer" for the food once it is cooked. The top oven is average in its performance--mostly even baking-- and I find I use it most. It was extremely important to me that I had a convection oven as the last range I had--a 1998 Frigidair Gallary--had one and was super. The bottom oven on the LG is supposed to have convetion. It has a fan that blows periodicly not continuously. The convection system is supposed to provide you with more even baking-- LG's does not. It does have plenty of room in the bottom oven--baked a huge country ham.

Cook top heats fast, as does the infrared broiler. Warming burner is great for keeping sauces warm, but not so functional for a stack of plates. Top oven is roomy as promised. It cooks evenly, and we love the convection feature! The control panel is clear and easy to use. The only feature that's not 100% are the little tunes the range plays when oven is at temperature, timer finishes, etc. Typical of LG appliances, however.

I bought this range before Christmas so I would have it for Christmas dinner. It worked beautifuly. I had never cooked with convection before and now don't know how I lived without it. The meals that I have used the convection with always come out perfect. The only problem I had with this range is the self cleaning option. I had spilled meat juice and had to run the cleaning option several times and scrub the spots to get them out. Besides this, and knowing now that I should be more careful, I wouldn't trade my LG for any other. I am waiting for the refridgerator to go on sale so I have a matching pair?

We've had the range for a month now and the wife loves it. It cooks evenly and works well as long as you program it correctly. I wouldn't change anything the bottom oven is on the floor but that's why it's as big as it is. It could have more features but that was the next model and this has everything we need. Treat the stovetop correctly and you won't regret buying this range.

Run from this product and Sears specifically. This range arrived at my home on Dec 20,2012. First time EVER I used the upper oven, I had dish spillover. I opened the door and pulled the rack and dish out to determine what was happening. The dish continue to spillover the rack and onto the oven door. I attempted to sponge the contents of the hot oven door but wasn't very successful. The contents on the oven door slipped between the internal and external windows of BOTH the upper and lower ovens. The greasy mess was stuck between panes as it seaped thru the vents at the bottom and top of the ovens. Self cleaning didn't help. I had never used the lower oven. Calling "Customer Resolution" said it was my action, my problem. And Sears wonders why customers aren't buying products?

When our oven blew up (literally) while baking Christmas cookies, we knew we had to get a new oven. I was really bummed because we didn't need such a large expense literally 3 days before Christmas. However, after doing research on the BEST ovens, I came upon this one. We were not planning to spend very much, so this was certainly more that we had budgeted for, however, I had always wanted a double oven. We cook a lot of food during holidays and it would be a huge time saver, not to mention trying to keep everything warm to be served all at once. It also had the 5 burners which was a must. Our oven was delivered on Christmas Eve morning, just in time so that I could cook the two egg stratas I was taking to my in-laws for brunch. It has been absolutely WONDERFUL having double ovens. I love that it is all digital. It boils water so quickly. The ovens heat up quickly and they alert you when they have been preheated. I like the sounds that the oven makes when it is done cooking
