I BOUGHT THIS 47 INCH LG I LOVE THE PITCHER ON LED OMG I WAS AMAZED WHEN I WATCHED THE FOOTBALL AND I WATCH AVATAR IN BLU RAY THEY LOOKED SO REAL WHEN THEY MOVE N TALK IM GETTING THE 55 INCH REALLY SOON I CANT WAIT

This is not a TruMotion 120Hz set.
LG has changed its slogan from "Life's Good" to "Lying's Good". It's a blatant lie that they claim this TV is 120hz. After watching and tuning the settings for about an hour, I eventually came to the conclusion that I've been duped by false advertising. I decided to hit the web and Google the issue; it seems this is a consensus among other 47LS4500 owners. If you're looking for a true 120hz TV, I strongly urge you to look elsewhere, more importantly another manufacturer. I will never touch another LG product again.

Good Buy
Just purchased this TV last week. I am still tryng to figure out how to tweek the settings. The picture on non-hd channels seems dark/dim. I have tried all the picture presets and have also tried the manual settings and still seems dark. TV is very slim and sleek. Too early to tell if it's just me or the actual TV for the acutal picutre quality.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

A great value
I am very pleased with this purchase. I replaced a 46" Samsung 60 Hz LCD TV that needed a new power supply (the TV wouldn't turn on). There is a difference in picture clarity when viewing sports and fast action programming on the 120 Hz LG TV. The picture is smoother, no distortion. Also, the TV takes up less room, the overall picture quality is very good and you will certainly save on your electric bill. Overall, I am very pleased with the TV.

Researched this TV, a samsung and a toshiba. All my research pointed to this TV. Sears had a sale on the 3 TV's above and were very close in sale price although the LG was discounted less, the LG was the least expensive retail. So far I have had this TV 3 weeks and could not be happier. Picture is great and the sound although not HIFI quality is better then I expected. Hope it lasts. No regrets on this purchase.
