Another nice product from LG
I just recently got LG's new pet vacuum cleaner, so I won't be reviewing the longevity of it. I've had so many vacuum's over the years and am very tired of replacing them every year or two (the price of having 3 long-haired dogs I suppose). I choose this vacuum because it met all my requirements, had a few new bells and whistles, and the 5-year warranty sounded nice too. I've also tried all the big names, except Dyson, and haven't been happy with them.
Pros: pretty quiet for a vacuum, LOVE the retractable cord, the dust compressor cuts down on trips to empty out the dust bin, good beater brush that really fluffs up the carpet, washable dust filter AND washable HEPA filter (the first I've ever seen), nice sleek design with all attachments firmly attached (they don't fall off if you accidently hit the wall),
Cons: no brushes on sides to "brush along the wall" and send hair to the beater brush (though the suction is good so it does get most of it), because the beater brush is so good it gets full of hair fast and to get the brush out for a proper cleaning requires unscrewing the frame around it, I prefer when the snap off for easy access
And now time is the test and/or honoring of the warranty....

Don't plan on vacuuming the whole house at once.
I have to vacuum one level at a time. It's constantly overheating!!! I try to clean all the filters regularly and I empty the canister before every use. But do not forget, otherwise it will only work for about 10 minutes than it has to cool then you have to clean all the filters before finishing the job. Hopefully, you are not trying to finish before the company arrives. The only thing good I can says is I like the fact its compact and light weigth.

Simply the best vacuum I've ever owned!
This thing has some serious power! I have had the thing filled up and have seen no decrease in suction at all. This thing gets coarse, hound's hair (the kind that weaves itself into fabric) out of carpet and off of furniture without thinking twice. The height setting foot pedal allows me to move from thick carpet to tile to thin carpet without losing a stride. And the extra long, retractable cord is fantastic! I liked my first one so much I bough a 2nd one for the upstairs. This vacuum rocks!

DON'T BUY - You pay too much then it breaks
I was really excited when I bought this vacuum. Really excited. However, it has been over a year now and my vacuum is being sent back to LG for the second time. This means I will be without a vacuum in the house for a month. With pets, that is terrible. Now I truly am upset with LG for making a product this horrible. They will not send me a new vacuum until it breaks for the third time. I am generally a positive thinker but I am sure it will break again. Please do not buy this vacuum.

This vacuum is really good, so I recommended my neighbor and friends. It sucks dirt perfectly. Before LG, I didn't recognized my room was so dirty, because everyday I vacuumed. With LG every I cleaned, and more cleaner My House was. It's really worth it.

Good suction, although powerhead kept tripping built-in breaker needing reset multiple times. Even had the powerhead on the highest setting. After one week, took back for return with no problems and purchased a Dyson. Wife is much happier now!

The LG Kompressor upright vacuum
Love this lightweight, easy to use, easy to clean vacuum. We have 2 inside dogs (not to mention a messy husband) and it does a great job in cleaning.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

This product is definately not worth the money
I would never buy this product line again, nor would I recommend it to anyone. It has lousy suction, stops working before you are done vacuuming an average size ranch style home, leaks dust, clogs up too easily, needs too much maintenance for the price paid for it. Needs to be returned to LG for repair and I have no desire to even speak with the customer service people, as I am so frustrated with the product and mad that I spent as much as I did on such an inferior product.

Very happy with it!
have gone through many vacuums and this is probably the best one I've had - Sucks up dirt just as well (or better) as the other I've had, and iot's on the quieter end. All in all very happy with it so far.
