    electronic controls not intuitive

    ??I installed the oven my self.  The oven was well packed, clean and in excellent condition when we brought it home.  It fit perfectly in the space where the old oven had been.  Two people were needed to move the oven into place.  The oven is light enough for one person to lift but its size is ackward to move by one's self.  I purchased a gas flex hose connection kit from my local hardware store for about $12.00 and some thread gunk to prevent leaks.  I had one surprise with the installation...The control valve has a built in gas shut off.  A red plastic flip switch which is not shown in the instruction manual and is the first time I have found a shut off installed in the oven.  I have usually find shut offs on the gas line.  So the oven would not light when I first turned it on.  After several hours off persistent investigation I stumbled on to the new technology shut off and the oven worked normaly.

    I was surprised by the amount of smoke a new oven gives off during the break in period and opened all of the windows...quite the odor.

    We have had the oven around a month now and are happy with its performance and the fit and finish of the appliance.  We have one issue with the operation of the control panel in not very intuitive.  We have not figured out how to easily cancel the bake timer.  It continues to count down after pushing the main cancel button.  Rereading the operation manual may help with this but like I said it is not intuitive.  However, I am pleased with the oven as it seems to preheat quickly.

    I purchased this wall oven to replace an old bulit-in that had seen better days. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to operate and set the timer. It's bakes evenly and quickly. I definitely would recommend this wall oven.
