Very Disappointed in Maytag
I purchased this Maytag dryer to replace a 20+ year old Maytag dryer that was still working. I am sorry to say that less than two months later, the dryer does not work. When you push the power button, lights come on, but not the start/power button. You can change the other settings, but once you push the start button, the other setting buttons won't work, until you turn the power off and push the power button again. But there is no point changing any of the setting buttons, as the dryer itself is dead. I should have kept my old 20+ year dryer. It was old, but it worked.

i've had a maytag washer and dryer since 1980 and they worked great! then i bought this. poor drying time (over 1 1/2 hours to dry a load of laundry. that goes for all types, be it pants, shirts, towels etc. I'm not overloading and the auto dry doesn't work any better. and yes the machine is level.

In the short time I have owned this dryer it has stopped working 3 times. I have paid over $300 twice to have the circuit board replaced. Dryer stopped working again this weekend. This time I'm going to purchase a new dryer & trash this piece of junk

I love this dryer!
I bought this dryer with a matching 3.4 cubic foot, top loading washer. The washer spins clothes so dry that this dryer has very little work to do. I love the auto sensor that shuts the dryer off when the clothes are dry. It has a timed cycle if I need to dry clothes that way, like for my down comforter. It also has a wrinkle guard feature that is useful. And it holds a ton of clothes! This dryer is also very quiet. I close the laundry room door and can barely hear it. I am very happy with this purchase.
