Mongoose  B Axe 20 Inch Boy's BMX Bike

The only good thing about the purchase is it was received on time. There were several large scratches on the bike and the back tire/rim was warped. It looked like a used return that was re boxed and sold as new. Return it to a local Big K and was refunded minus the shipping. That cost me $23.

He absolutely loves this bike. It is a little bigger than what most 20" bikes are but he absoluitely loves the style. It is a little heavy but very well built. Would recommend it to others but try before you buy because of the size.

Very cooland sleek....perfect birthday present for my 10 year old. Brakes are a little touchy but all around a great buy!

I have been looking for this bike for a raffle, I have a rain check on this bike. The Algonac Bus Drivers is hosting a Spring Fling in the clay twp. for children in the park on April 21,2012. So were hoping that this wonderful bike comes in the marine city store. We are very excited.

This Boy's BMK Mongoose B is a great choice for young and older boys which want to make a good impression and stand out in the crowd. Ideal for bike riding at parks. Great stearing control and durable wheels. Strong and reliable with great color detailing.

We bought this bike for our Grandson and he loves it. We received the bike in good condition and promptly. He can't wait for the snow to melt and get out there in the dirt.

Ok, so i bought this bike about 2 months ago and the thing is fallen aprart. FIRST: the frame and overall bike weighs 25 pounds thats not close to a weight requirement for a bmx bike. SECOND:the spokes are plastic and the design are from the eighty's, there decent spokes but not if ur planning on using this bike for tricks which is what a bmx bike is for. THIRD: the frame is WAY TO THICK, the design is so bad if u wipeout a good time the frame will break or crack. I DO NOT reccomend this bike for any kind of bmx or even cruising purposes!

This bike was purchased for my 9-year old son who saw the bike online prior to purchasing it.  We were disappointed once it arrived and we assembled it for the first ride.  The worst aspect is that the wheels bend during tight turns since they are of a composite plastic/nylon construction; this is very annoying.  Then, I can't get the wobble out of the tires (they won't set onto the wheels uniformly around the perimeter of the wheel in order to provide a smooth ride).

Another problem is the brakes are weak and hard to pull for my 9-year old.  I can get them to lock the wheel against turning at all.

So, we are quite dissappointed with the quality, and since we purchased online and shipped to the house, it is a big pain to ship back for a return....but we may here soon.

I won't buy another bike online unless I see it up and close prior.

We ordered this bike for our 10 year old grandson birthday gift. After waiting for the bike to arrive, upon opening for assembly the wrong item was received. After speaking with a Customer Service Representative, we were informed that we COULD NOT return the item to our local store. However, they were very quick to suggest that I order another bike (as the one we ordered was probably a mispick) I think NOT. Upon contacting the shipper/manufacturer we were told this was an OLD ITEM and no longer available.

How disappointing that SEARS is not the Sears of days gone by. I've just checked the bike again, and it is still showing BLUE.

My advise. . . if you are looking for a Silver and Black bike this is the one for you. If you are expecting BLUE. . . . DO NOT ORDER.

A disappionted family

I'm sure it's a great product, but I will never know since they sent the wrong product. I waited a week to get the wrong bike, and they wouldn't allow me to take it to Sears myself for a return. To make matters worse, I had to wait another three days for a return authorization. My Grandson was highly dissapointed when I had no bike to give him for his Birthday last weekend. What happened to customer service? Sears seems to have forgottem what it means. I will never purchase anything from Sears online ever again!!!
