Plenty of Fitness Options
I didn't see much difference in the 900 and the 900 Pro; nothing that would justify an additional $200. And for the folks that had trouble with assembly, it's not rocket science. Unpack all of the loose parts laying them out on the floor so you know what you have, read the instructions trough once before you begin (familiarize yourself with the parts), take your time and follow the directions. My wife and I had this thing assembled and using it in less than 2 hours. I'm 230 lbs and walked on it this morning after b-fast; my back was a little tight from being down on the floor yesterday during the assembly and I'm out of shape and overweight. I feel better this morning and look forward to a stress relieving walk at night in the safety of my own living room. I'll still be in front of the TV, but at least I'll be moving and burning calories!!!

Not worth the Headache
Brought home from store took 3 hours to put together. Carried it 2 basement. Didnt work lcd was broke nordic track took 2 weeks to mail another carried back upstairs we bought another one A SOLE its awesome dont buy nordic track they said that the 900 has a couple bad batches of bad lcd panels this was a big pain 2 carry back upstairs it came apart real fast though. DONT BUY IT

Great treadmill for the price!
This is my first treadmill, and I am glad that I did the research to determine that this is the best treadmill for the price. I am very satisfied with my decision. Assembly wasn't as bad as some other reviews suggest. My roommate and I assembled it in 75 minutes with no problems. However, it is quite heavy. Overall, I am very pleased with the NordicTrack C900!

Run From This Product - Very Scary
Defective drive belt and roller. Bought brand new out of the box and has defective drive belt just like the previous reviews. I bought this only because Consumer Reports rated it pretty high. As a result, I have slippage issue and was not able to use it for than a month after purchase. Do not buy anything from Sears or Norditrack, terrible service and safety issue. How do you return a treadmill after you buy it?

BOUGHT THIS ITEM NEW IN THE BOX LAST MONTH. WORKED FINE BUT SQUEAKED CONSTANTLY WHILE RUNNING. REPAIR GUY CAME OUT TWICE AND COULD NOT FIX IT. MY ADVICE, RUN FROM IT. SENT IT BACK AND BOUGHT A LIFE SPAN TREADMILL.

Buyer Beware
I had this treadmill for one day before the console stopped responding. This required over 2 hours with tech support where they had ME take the console off and apart to check the wiring. While it now seems to be working, they refused to have a tech come out and check if I reassembled it correctly. That is, until I told them there is another problem... which is at the higher inclines, the treadmill speeds up out of control. I assume this is a combination of the angle and my weight (215lbs). Very disappointing as I paid the extra $ for the 15% incline instead of the 12%. Also, this speeding up is a safety hazard until you figure out what is going on, so first time users BE CAREFUL. One good thing is that I like the absorption of the deck. Two stars is generous. The customer service experience was horrible!!! Takes 3-5 business days for a tech to even contact you for the warranty.

Some issues
I love the treadmill itself despite the small interanal errors I have encountered. The running pad began to shift left which can be adjusted with the provided tools and manual. I have noticed a squeeking noise which has been identified and I am expecting a maintenance man some time in the next two weeks. Over all it is great for anyone who loves to run; my wife trains her friend who loves the incline. Overall I give it a 4 star rating for the two defficincies.

I've had this for about a month now and so far I love it. I paid for the delivery and setup which was hard to do because its pricey, but cheaper than the online delivery and they set it up for you. It's very heavy and I'm single so it was worth it, especially if something was wrong with it (which there wasnt). The delivery people were great as they carried it up some tricky steps and then set it up where I needed it pretty quickly. I was having a hard time deciding between the pro and the c900. I actually like the smaller and lower display screen because I'm only 5"1. I like to watch tv while I work out to keep my mind busy, so the c900 is better for me. Its quiet and stable, and I love the quad shocks. I have bad hips, so this helps alot. I already feel stronger and have lost 5 pounds. No complaints so far and I'm actually starting to enjoy it and look forward to it. I can tell a huge difference in my energy level. I use it more than going to a gym.

Defective Product-stay away
This was a very comfortable treadmill to use...for the 45 days it worked. When the console stopped responding, I contacted the manufacturer and the replacement part was unavailable indefinitely. Now it is a 350 pound paper weight.
