    The best there is on the market in this price range! January 22, 2011

    The sales part of this purchase was very smooth and helpful. This machine was easy to assemble. It was packed well. After it was all put together we put it to use. It's VERY smooth to use and QUIET! It doesn't take long at all to get your heart rate up and running. It works the muscles in your legs and arms as well (if you use to motion handle bars), you can use the stationery handle bars if you wish. We usually walk outside, but this winter was just to doggone cold and snowy, so we decided to get this machine. I really believe this will keep us healthier and stronger as long as we keep a good schedule of use.

    Great for the basement! April 08, 2011

    I used to go to the YMCA and the elliptical machines were always in use, so I got this Nordic track elliptical machine. It is a great 1/2 hour to 40 minute workout!

    Especially in the winter, when you can't get outside to walk/run.

    For some reason, my husband thinks it hurts his feet ? I don't have that issue.

    My only problem is that I should get off the computer and use my Nordic track more! :)

    This is a great machine. It is very very large tho even folded up its huge. So if you are going to buy it make sure you have a lot of room. It is a little tricky to put together as well. But after its assembled it worked great. Nice and smooth and it has a fan on it and all types of different workout modes you can use.

    The Nordic Track E5 vi Elliptical Trainer has been the best cardio purchase I have made.  When looking at different models and makes, the this elliptical had the most bang for the money.  It is a smooth moving machine which makes it easier on the legs, knees and feet.  The added benefit is that it does fold up to reduce the length when not in use for space saving technology.  This particular model comes with a fan and the added feature to use the fitness cards that can be purchased for workouts.  It was put together in a little over an hour by someone who is mechanically inclined, not sure I would have attempted, I would suggest to pay the extra to have a service tech.  from the store come and put it together.

    The cons were that it did not come with the power cord which was purchased separately and had to wait on delivery, so in the meantime the purchase of 4 D size batteries were made and installed so that the machine could be used with the fan and resistance mechanism.  It also does not allow for both the batteries and the power cord to be utilized as a backup.  The second con, was the speakers are not very loud when plugging in the IPod, so it is not a feature that I will utilize.

    All in all, it was a great purchase and I am definitely happy with it.

    cost of extended warranty,no power cord,Too Narrow, Rocks back and Forth,Front support squeaks when in use

    I got my machine on Saturday. Put it together Saturday night. Did about half an hour Sat, Sun, Mon and today it was squeaking like crazy! VERY annoying! It was quiet the first use, the second use it got a tiny squeak....couple days in and its loud. Will try to fix with wd40 tonight. My dh put the lube everywhere stated in the directions and he did it very good. It took about 2 hours to put together with both of us working on it. I know it sounds crazy but I have dropped about 3 lbs already!
