    Great workout! March 19, 2011

    I have a treadmill that is hard on my knees, but the only pain from using this is the muscles I forgot I had. I have been using the E7.1 for 44 days at 20 minutes a day and have lost 16 pounds. The workout ranges are set to meet the needs of anyone using the product. The cost wasn't bad and it only took an hour to put together. I look forward to being healthier in life thanks to this product.

    NordicTrack Elliptical Trainer E7.1 - Display not very good April 02, 2011

    For the price I would think the display screen would be better. Not as good as what you find in the gym. The display has started to smear, if that makes any sense. Also, the machine took a while to assemble, which is fine, but it started squeaking too soon after initial use. Machine itself is good.

    Overall I'm not too impressed. I use it anyway.

    My wife and I decided to get an elliptical to work off some winter pounds. After researching a bit, we came across the E7.1 and decided to get it. It was definitely worth it. It is sturdy, functional, gives a great work out, and was relatively easy to assemble. The only negative is that the computer display seems a bit dated, like something from the 90s, but everything considered, it is still an outstanding piece of equipment.

    Don't really know if I'll like it, yet. After assembly (about two weeks ago) we found that the resistance didn't change and seemed to be higher than the minimum compared to our old one. After spending a half hour on hold we were told that they would send us a replacement wiring harness for the resistance motor. My guess is that that's the cheapest first guess. Of course, the part is 'unavailable' so may take longer than the normal 7-10 days to arrive (it's still not here) So far, it does a great job of being an obstacle in the basement.

    My husband and I were looking for a good, sturdy elliptical machine that would work well for both our body types. The NordicTrack has been a great price performer and allows you to plug in an ipod or other mp3 device. It does not have alot of bells and whistles. The digital screen is very 1980's but gets the job done. Well worth the money invested. Nice and sturdy and a fair price.

    I am so thrilled I can workout without bothering my family - while we all watch tv together! This is a sturdy, stable and quiet machine. It took about 2 hours to assemble. The instructions could have been clearer and I wish they would include more information regarding maintenance.
