    Almost a great treadmill January 29, 2008

    I have had the Viewpoint 3000 now for almost a year. This is by far the best treadmill I owned. Great features! Only one problem. The heart rate monitor registers all over the place. We called customer service and they sent us the wireless strap to try for free thinking that the hand grips may be the problem. That didn't fix it so they sent me a new console. It works better than the first console but I'm still having problems with it. Over all it's a great treadmill and I don't think I would trade it for a different one. Customer service has been very easy to deal with which is almost unheard of these days.

    Love it but... May 15, 2007

    I purchased my treadmill three months ago, and am now waiting for my third center console to arrive. So far the treadmill has been not working for 5 weeks out of 12. Nordictrak has been great about getting new parts, but I'm frustrated that I can't use my new expensive treadmill. When it works, it is great.

    If you have joint problems I would go with elyptical.  I had to sell mine in order to by my elyptical machine.  I started feeling low back pain and knee issues.  A friend suggested I switch so I did.  There is nothing wrong with the Nordic, I just could no continue using it.

    I ordered this Nordictrack viewpoint 3000 on 12-29-07 online from sears after trying it in the store. I bought the nordic trac 3 yr in home warranty /it and total bill w/tax s&h=$1605 ($1199.00 for treadmill). It was delivered the following day by sears on 12-30-07 within 21 hours from the time I ordered it online !! Delivered on Sunday morning, Yes Sunday morning on a holiday weekend !! Wow !! Sears has come along way in improving there service from one of the worst to the best I've ever seen. The delivery was excellent they brought it into my basement and assemble treadmill and showed the few basic things about it and gone (w/all trash etc.) w/in hour of arrival. Just super!! The treadmill has alot of features built in w/multi speed choices/ incline choices/ display choices/just plug in (plug already their) mp3 player or daughters i-pod and music w/volumne controls -nice w/2 little built in speakers/has built in tv w cable outlet on screen (have' nt hooked up yet but looks easy) No need right away for optional workout cards that offer "a talking trainer and 8-week program" thats nice but understand their not reusable but are worth the additional help for many users this treadmill comes w/ alot of builtin programs (w/o trainer talking ) and of course you can chane what you want whenyou want.We have all given it a whirl from 15 yrs old to late 50's avg to 50-60 lbs over wgt. and all found this has enough to offer in fitness levels far into future/seems to be very well made durable and has alot of features/ note mine is in basement and basement has low ceiling that when I stand up correctly and incline the treadmill a little ,my head hits ceiling tiles (I'm just under 6ft) somaybe make sure of your overhead requirements if in room w/low ceilings. or for me I just slide the tile over when using this awesome pc of equipment
