Works great!
It boils water- not a lot to say! Although I would like to mention that it doesn't whistle really loud, so it is great if that is what you need. Also, it is a little annoying that you have to take the lid all the way off to pour the boiling water out.
I would recommend this product to a friend.

Closest thing to original Whistler glass teakettle
For 40 years we have used nothing but these kettles. They are incredibly sturdy. We only replace them when we forget and leave them on the stove until all the water has boiled away and the plastic top melts. Even then, they never shatter, and the glass can withstand white-hot glowing stove elements. Yes, you have to use the metal diffuser - no big deal, because the kettle sits on the same burner all the time. I will never use an opaque metal kettle because it is impossible to see debris and gunk inside. These glass kettles are beautiful, minimalistic and work like a charm.

Waste of Money!
Don't waste your money on this inferior quality kettle. It's unattractive and it does not whistle. On top of that, you have to use a metal heat diffusing trivet when you heat up the water. Who remembers all the time? Will use until it breaks or starts to look even more unsightly than it already is.
