does not fit krups 140
This item is not quite as advertized. The base on the bottom is too wide to sit flat on the warming plate of a Krups 140 coffemaker. As a result, I am going to return the item. Also, the cover does not fit the carafe or the filter basket for krups fortmat 4 correctly

Overall
One All Universal Carafe is NOT a one-size-fits-all solution.
The One All Universal 10 Cup Glass Eurostyle Coffee Carafe works with the Krupps coffeemaker however there were two distinct problems: 1. The lid to the carafe does not easily pop up with a press of the thumb. If the lid is in exactly the right position atop the carafe it will open with a press of the thumb. However, at other times it needs to be opened manually. 2. The carafe is just short of raising the brew detector lever so the first pot made spewed over the sides of the coffee grounds basket, as the water collected in there. After a rig with a twist-tie on the coffee maker lever, the first delicious pot of coffee was brewed and all is well. For those who don't mind a little extra work for a good cup of coffee, this $7.99 coffee carafe fix is a winner! (The lever problem may not occur on another European brand coffee maker but it did on the Krupps.)
I would recommend this product to a friend.
