Essex Commercial Grade 6' Bench

The beautiful and classic Oxford Garden Essex 6' Bench will make a wonderful seating statement in any outdoor setting. The beautifully simple design includes thick and heavy legs and classic corner braces. The entire Essex line of benches and chairs have been designed to present a grand scale in any residential or commercial setting. Unlike any other Oxford Garden styles, the Essex line is built of large 2 and 1/8" dimensional lumber. This bench is made of shorea, a teak family wood that is more dense and heavy than teak. Shorea requires no finishing and will not rot when left outdoors where rain and sun will damage other lesser quality woods. Left untreated, shorea will weather to a soft warm shade of gray similar to the weathering of teak. Sturdy mortise and tenon construction provides the highest quality joinery that will last for many years. Original color can be maintained by applying a seasonal coat of Australian Timber Oil (not included).
