The TC-P50C2, a 50-inch class HDTV offers spectacular picture performance with a 600Hz sub-field drive that delivers razor-sharp resolution, VIERA Image Viewer for viewing and sharing digital photos with friends and family, music slideshow functionality, and VIERA Link.

  • 600Hz sub-field drive
    600Hz technology lets you view superb full-HD motion and still images with 1,080 lines of resolution. For even greater clarity with motion images, Panasonic uses its own unique image-analysis technology. This technology converts the motion in each scene into dots. And each frame is practically displayed for a shorter length of time than in previous systems, to reduce aftereffects.
  • VIERA Image Viewer
    It's easy to view full-HD images with the SD card slot. Watch and show your photos right after you takes them. Simply insert an SD memory card into your VIERA HDTV to display photos on the large screen.     Plasma is here to stay January 24, 2011

    This is one television that lives up to it's ratings. I do not rely totally on ratings because there are many other factions to be considered. Plasma sets got such a bad reputation when they first came out but have overcome all of those problems. This is one of the best sets you can buy and the price is awesome. If you want just a basis set for TV viewing, movie watching or whatever, this would be the way to go. It also has some extra features such as the SD slot to use and the extra HDMI inputs. The colors are just brilliant and I really like the enhanced picture adjustment according to the lighting in your room. Overall I'm very satisfied.

    Panasonic TC-P50C2 Not working after 9 months January 27, 2011

    I bought my TC-P50C2 in April 2010. TV was great up until a day in January 2011 when hitting the mute button the TV went black. The power light now blinks 10 times in a repeating cycle. Called Panasonic as it is under warranty. Sent repair man that lives 150 miles away and took TV to his shop. Repairman called next day stating that 2 boards need to be replaced and both are on back order. He could not give an estimated repair date because of the back order. Guess I will be out of a TV for a month or many more. Before buying a Panasonic plasma tv ---- google Panasonic blinking power light and you will be amazed at the number of posts and the amount of people that want to start a class action law suit.

    I bought this tv on kmart layaway online. It was everything that I expected thw screen showed clear an eveything. My family love the tv and i was going to buy another but when i actually went into kmart to buy one the price had went up a whole hundred dollars. I said what the hell and bought it anyway. I JUST LOVE IT LOVE IT

    low volume level at times

    For the money this TV is really worth every penny. Ease of set up and performance is excellent. I purchased my set in March and have had no problems (knock on wood). I can't wait until football season.
