Polaroid  iF045 Waterproof Digital Camera - Blue

If you want the waterproof feature, check into something else because that may be the only good feature on this camera. I got it on Sale for $50 with no accessories, batteries, Mini SD Card.. nada. As others have stated, the battery drains quickly, the SD is a mini w/no converter and the compartment for the card and batteries is hard to open. Pic quality is iffy but the camera itself sucks, period. I do not recommend.

I got this camera on sale for $48.00. Not bad for the price. It's was a little tricky at first because I was used to my Canon ELPH. I wanted something water proof to take swimming, picnics etc in the summer. I've never used a micro SD card before so that was a little tricky to install. The quick start guide was confusing because it shows the card going in right side up but it actually goes in the other way. I didn't really like the instruction manual on CD (I'm old school) but it's ok too. I bought lithium ion batteries so we'll see how long they last. If I use the camera a lot maybe rechargeable one would be a better investment. Getting the pictures on my computer was a little tricky too until i figured out that you have to actually turn the camera back on once you get it connected with the USB cable. I don't know about that whole date/ time stamp thing. I haven't figured out how to set the time stamp yet. LOL. It's not super user friendly, but for the price... well.

I received this camera from the hubbs this Christmas. I love this camera...if only the battery didn't' t suck. Polaroid should redo this camera with the lithium ion rechargeable battery and make the battery case a tad easier to use. I had to return it because the batteries would die after a few pics. I'm disappointed Polaroid.

I had no problem transferring pics and the program that comes with it is really easy to use for putting pics to your computer and even uploading your pics/videos to FB, youtube, ect. There's been no problem so far with it draining my batteries but then again I'm using ones made for devices like this.

The iF045 Polaroid isn't the best camera sometimes, besides the waterproof feature, it isn't the best. The only things that worked really well on the camera, was the Macro feature. Otherwise, the camera wasn't at all what I thought it would be like.

I bought this camera for its small size and to take pictures in setting that would benefit from the use of a water proof camera. You can't see either of the screens in bright sunlight. It goes through batteries faster than I would have wanted. There are limited controls for creative use. You can't tell if the shot is in focus, you just have to trust it. There is a significant delay in taking the picture after pressing the shutter release. It was very frustrating to use. It was waterproof.

I was surprised to know once I received the camera, that it takes 2 AAA batteries and does not include any memory card or memory in it at all. I didn't see that in the product description and I thought all of them came with that these days. All in all a cool camera. I like the option of the front screen and the water/shock proof

Takes great shots underwater , had it in the ocean , pool for a week off and on . It is not the fastest , I'd say about 5-7 seconds between shots (could also be my old memory card too) but remember what it costs. It has its quirks , you have to pull the card out to get the pictures off as far as I can tell . But for $ 79 bucks ! great camera . I tested it , my 8 yr old tested it alot under water , he had a ball with it ! . it never skipped a beat . Glad I took a chance on it . Wish it had a veiw finder , but the screen is big , front screen on it also , why ? I don't know ? Complaints online were mostly short battery life........ well duh ? 2 tiny AAA batteries . Don't run the front screen and it helps . I'd say we got a couple hours of it being on / off and around 100 + shots at 14 mp. I bought the 2 yr warranty just in case , but very happy overall so far .

I purchased this camera for the waterproof feature and the limited tested I could do it does indeed seem to be waterproof.The downfall of this camera is no opticial zoom and drains batteries(even rechargables) other then that I am very happy with it.It does require a micro sd vs a reg sd card and uses a mirco usb cord and does take a good normal everyday picture.It may not be my prefference for a everyday camera due to bot batteries and zoom but I would reconmend it for anyone looking for a fun camera that they can take in the pool,snow etc......
