Should be in every mechanics tool box
Most of the other mechanics I work with swear by these. I finally purchased my own & it ranks at the top of the "must have" tools in my box. Kinda pricey but, you get what you pay for. My only regret is not buying one sooner.

A Must have tool
After hours of pounding and heating a front truck wheel bearing, I was getting nowhere. I called the auto parts store and they recommended the posilock. It literally took less than 5 minutes to remove the bearing with the posilock.

Awesome tool well worth the price!
THE PROBLEM: pulling an inner race off of a rear axle spindle. After a frustrating weekend full of repair expenses, I did NOT want to shell out $80 for a bearing puller. But after a 3 jaw puller and a 2 jaw puller from 2 different stores did nothing but waste my time and frustrate me even more, I was ready to pay almost anything just to get the job. So I bit the bullet, bought it, brought it home, and went to work. First try was to get between the race and the axle seat, but there was absolutely no room. But the second try was to hook behind less than a 1/16 inch lip on the end of the race. I cranked down the outer shield of the puller as tight as I could, turned the drive screw, and the race came off like it was greased. No slipping, no popping off, no nothing. It actually took me longer to get it out of the package than to get the race off! It was so beautiful almost cried! Almost. BOTTOM LINE: I wanted to save a buck or 40, but I would have saved myself HOURS of frustration and MILES of driving if I had just bought this little wonder first! Yes it is much more expensive, but YES IT IS WORTH IT!! I highly recommend it to any and all!
