ProForm  440 Recumbent Exercise Cycle

This bike lasted 91 days and fell apart. Complete waste of money. Buyer beware. PS, Sears only offers a 90 warranty on this for a good reason.

I bought this bike in May 2012. I was on it for less than 5 minutes when the pedal flew off. It then took 6 weeks of waiting for repair "assessments", return trips with items that were supposed to fix it but did not and waiting for back-ordered parts. The bike was eventually replaced entirely. The pedals on the replacement worked but only about 2-3 weeks later, the console screeched, hissed, turned on at random (draining expensive and annoying to replace batteries) and sometimes wouldn't work at all. 5 months later the replacement bike stopped working altogether. Console died and could not even change resistance. I will NEVER buy from ProForm again. Huge waste of time and money and all I got was aggravation

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PROFORM 440 ( NOT THE 110 MODEL) SEARS HAS BEEN TERRIFIC, THEY DELIVERY, THEY SET UP, VERY PROFESSIONAL DELIVERY STAFF/SET UP STAFF. THIS IS A TOP OF THE LINE BIKE, AND THE MONITOR WORKS. I HAD TO RETURN THE PROFORM 110 MODEL DUE TO DEFECTIVE ELECTRONIC MONITOR. I ALSO PURCHASED THE 2 YR EXTENDED WARRANTY. SEARS IS TERRIFIC. THIS MACHINE WORKS GREAT.

The console on my unit turned on and off randomly and the speakers pop when it turns off. The power unit, which plugs into a connector in the battery case, does not fix this, but it does eliminate the batteries. I like the battery operation, so I mounted a mini toggle switch on the console to interrupt power when not in use - problem solved and a mod the designer should have done. Unit operates well, but the heart rate monitor works poorly. Some rather poor welds on the frame. Assembly is difficult for 1 person.

I purchased this bike In January 2012. In March the console would come on on its own and make a loud noise. I spent $20 on electric cord to override the battery. That solved the console problem, but a few months later, the bike developed a loud grinding noise. The suggested part costs about as much as the bike. To have someone come check what part is needed costs around $130. I am totally disappointed in the bike, especially for how little I have used it because of all the problems.

digital screen replaced 4 times still bad had to get adapter for 110 volt plug customer service plan will not replace till tech comes 4 times to house so be weary of service plans from sears

This bike only lasted 6 months with light daily use. We called Sears for a repair estimate and the cost to repair exceeded the purchase price. The repair guy was not impressed with this bike.

I bought this bike about 1 week ago. I am very pleased with it so far. I was a little skeptical at first after reading the different reviews but ver pleased. It is sturdy and very quiet while riding. I have not gotten a chance to purchance the amp cord to save on batteries but im planning on it. It does not come n in the middle of the night like someone mentioned. Just love it.

I bought this cycle 12/1/11 and the console has completely went out. Since it is not under warranty they will not replace it. What good is the bike if the console doesn't work!!!!

I purchased this bike Wednesday 10/27/2012. I assembled it last evening. It took about an hour...reading the instruction and doing what it said slowly. The assembly went without a hitch...everything lined up the first time. You do need a second person briefly three times. The bike is well made. Does everything I was hoping it would do. Why spend more? Small thing: The heart monitor didn't work. Why? I hadn't removed the insulating paper from the four sensors on the seat handlebars. LOL Moves from place to place easily on its front rollers. THIS IS A ********!
