I have owned Kenmore front loads, Amana & GE top loads. This washer is so much better than any I have ever owned that it's like a different tool completely. If you want something better than what you have had,,,, THIS IS IT. I have had it for nearly a year and no problems or complaints. Capacity is totally awsome. Silver technology and sanitizing options give me peace of mind. Clothes smell and look great, from delicates to towels, rugs, and queen size bedspreads. It spins out so well that the dryer doesn't have too much to DO! We have it on a wood floor, it doesn't leak, shake, or stink as some front loads do.

I have this washer for almost 3 months. It does have large vibration during the spin cycle even at medium speed that shake the entire second floor. Samsung does not want to stand by the product and claim that it is Ok to vibrate as it is installed in the second floor. Even, the advertisement stating that "Samsung's Vibration Reduction Technology (VRT(TM)) Allows installation on second floors or near bedrooms because it provides smooth operation"."

So after 3 months of washer shopping and returning 3 other washers, I stumbled upon this washer on a DEEP discount (including tax, i paid 68% off the listed price). Let me start by saying it wasn't from Sears, because there price was higher and on a lesser model (mine is the WF448AWW)... I thought, "Ehh what the hell, i am batting 1000 here"... I have 2001 Maytag Neptune (T.O.L model) and i love it, but its time for a new washer.. This is the best washer I have ever used. I have only had it a few days, but i've washed everything in my house. My bathmats always had a funky smell, even with the stain cycle and after a quick cycle with silver care, i have to say, my bath mats don't smell any more.. I even left a bath towel out in the sun kinda wet and rank and it had no funk to it since it had been washed in the Samsung. My huge king size bed spread fits with ease and spins almost dry, something my Maytag couldn't do. Oh and my greasy, nasty Work shirts?? Clean, bright and wonderful. They actually look better than ever. I was skeptical of the Silver care, but i must say, it works great..I am still unsure how it works, but according to the book it uses silver ions in the wash water to kill bacteria. The steam wash is great too, it helps get things like my table cloth and bed spread clean with out hot water. Stain removal is great too.. Greasy food stains? Gone! This washer will hold alot of clothes. I was able to wash all the towels and such covering my furniture and it was still half empty! Now this washer does vibrate a little bit, but i think re leveling and putting a piece of cement board under it will help squelch that. The controls are very easy to decipher and use, once you read the book. The single cycle dial useuly guides you to the right cycle and settings. It will automaticly weigh and decided the right amount of water to use. Although it looks like very little water, due to the design, it is more than enough. I was very suprised to see how little it did use and how clean stuff came out, compared to other HE machines i have used. Over all, this is def. worth considering and worth the money! Much better than the LG, Kenmore Elite (same as the LG), Ge Profile or Ge Hydrowave washer i bought...
