    5 STARS//WHAT ELSE January 24, 2009

    Sears is doing it's usual outstanding service and delivery folks. I was surprised to see that after the extra discounts it was as cheap as buying online with free delivery and 30 days return. This TV worked perfect out of the box and the box was also in good shape with no rough handling noticed. Backlighting is on full blast, so those of you that see clouds, flashlights, torches, rain, hail, thunderstorms, spot lights, etc please turn down those strong backlights. The remote works fine with COX cable. Great job to Samsung and Sears on the outstanding product.

    This was a replacement for our 50" Samsung DLP. The first one came right out of the box and did not work! The second one was perfect for two weeks! It also died. Called customer support and they said the new tech had a few bugs. I think for the money it should last at least a month before the service tech comes over to find out what went wrong! In the process of either getting this new one fixed or getting another new one. Overall this is the best TV I have owned in picture quality but if it does'nt keep working what is the point. Don't really know what to say. If I get another one and it fails I'll have no choice and go with a different brand. Maybe its a fluke but I'm having my doubts.

    I buy all my tv's and dvd's and stereo's from sears and I could not believe the quality of this screen. I don't have a hd box just a regular box and people come over to see this and say you have to have a hd box the picture is so clear. I love this set
