Return Policy

How do I return an item?

Returns & Exchanges
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase within 30 days of receipt, you may return it for a refund, or an exchange. Returned items must be unused, in their original condition and packaging, with tags still on items. A 5% restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund. SHIPPING AND HANDLING CHARGES ARE NOT REFUNDABLE. Customer is responsible for all return shipping charges. For your security, please ship with an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit. For free shipping items being returned, actual shipping charges paid by us to deliver the item will be deducted from your refund. We only accept returns after a valid return authorization number has been issued. To request a return authorization number, please email info@tambino.com. Be sure to include your name, product name, order number and reason for return. A customer service representative will contact you with a return authorization number and the address where you need to ship the item. We will not accept a return if without an authorization number. Warranty
Warranty: We warrant to the original consumer purchaser that this product is free of defects in materials or workmanship for one year* from the date of purchase (sales receipt is required for proof of purchase), or we will replace defective parts. This warranty is valid only if the product has been assembled and maintained per the instructions. This warranty does not cover abuse, accident, cosmetic issues from normal wear, or any other cause not arising from defects in material and workmanship. *The warranty period is three months for daycare or commercial purchasers. If there is such an issue, please document it with photographs to info@tambino.com, or send us the defective part, and we will replace the part or the entire product (depending on the issue), free of charge. Limitation of Liability: tambino llc specifically disclaims all warranties, express of implied, including but not limited to, warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event will tambino llc be liable for incidental, compensatory, punitive, consequential, indirect, special or other damages, even if tambino llc has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability with respect to defective products is limited to the monies paid to us for the defective good.

Damages In the unlikely event you receive a product that is incorrect, damaged or missing parts, please notify us within 7 days of delivery so that we can quickly take action to resolve the issue by arranging a return and/or shipping a replacement part. Please note: we may require digital images of the damage to process your claim.
HOW TO RECEIVE YOUR SHIPMENT: Although orders are packaged properly, transit-related damage may occur. It is imperative that you inspect your order carefully when it arrives. Please note any damage to your furniture and to the packing materials on the delivery receipt. Do not sign the shipping documents without recording details of transit damage. (For example: the furniture is scratched, the box is crushed on the top corner, punctured or wet). If the box appears to be in good condition, but you cannot inspect the shipment due to time constraints, please note, "not inspected at delivery" on the shipping waybill. However, if the box is compromised in any way, please note "box damaged, possible damage to piece, not inspected at delivery" on the waybill. Please make sure all original packing material is kept in the event of a return before the use of the product. All items/products that have been opened and used cannot be returned.
Upon inspection, if you find that your merchandise is damaged, you may choose to refuse the delivery. Damages must be reported to tambino at time of delivery by emailing info@tambino.com, or calling us at 1-650-787-5287. Tambino will be able to assist you in repair or replacement of damaged merchandise only if it is thoroughly inspected and documented as described above.

tambino® designer + educational furnishings for kids Tambino® is a new brand of environmental toys and furnishings for kids. Tambino® means "bambino" ('child' in Italian), + "tam" ('innocence', or 'child' in Hebrew) = Tambino! Our childrens furniture are designed to be interactive, intellectually stimulating, and engineered to last. Children with all types of learning styles respond well to the shapes and textures. One look at your child interacting with tambino® bedrails, stools and tables will convince you that these products will be loved to the fullest.

What's most important to us at Tambino® is to provide tools to help your child develop abstract and creative thinking, while incorporating movement. A child's thoughts and environment are three-dimensional, and sometimes non-linear and non-continuous. We think that since children see and use their environment differently than adults, their furnishings should be appropriately designed. Would your child naturally sit, or focus their best, while sitting in a miniaturized adult chair? We try to put your child's point of view into every Tambino® design. Our goal is to help kids all over the globe with these intuitive, kinesthetic, and visual learning styles. Underneath the joyous designs, however, is a lot of serious concern for quality:
o Our plywood has the highest ecological rating, California CARB2, which means, formadehyde-free. Likewise, our paint is water-based polyurethane. o Care is taken to select the finest wood with a clean face"; no wood eyes, spots or gnarls that can leave spaces between layers.
o Child safety is paramount: screws are flush with the surface, edges are rounded, and there are no small openings. o All materials purchasing is personally supervised by designer Jessica Cohen.

Tambino® is the brain*child of Jessica Cohen, product designer, innovator, and former child. Jessica grew up in the USA, and has degrees in art and product design from Stanford, and in architecture from U.C. Berkeley. For the past five years, she has run a design studio, and volunteered with disadvantaged kids ages 7-10 in Tel Aviv.
