Return Policy

We want your experience with us to be easy and hassle-free. If, for any reason, you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return most items within 30 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund.

Attention Holiday shoppers! OpticsPlanet wants to make your holiday gift buying easy and convenient. Our Extended Return Policy is one way we help spread the holiday cheer! For orders placed between November 1st and December 24th, our return policy has been extended through January 15, 2014 or up to 30 days after your order is received, whichever is later.
Please complete a RMA Request Form (found on our website at rma dot opticsplanet dot com) for all returns. Upon completion, print and attach the RMA Tag to the outside of the box and return the merchandise within 10 business days to ensure that your exchange or refund is processed in a timely fashion. Important: To access the RMA form, visit rma.opticsplanet.com and use your OpticsPlanet order number and billing zip code.

1.Fill out and submit a RMA Request Form online to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please note that we are unable to accept a return without a completed RMA Request Form. 2.Upon submission of the RMA Request Form, the Return Instructions and Merchandise Return Summary page appears. This page contains the RMA number that is active for only 10 business days.

3.Pack the item(s) securely using the original packing material. Please note that OpticsPlanet is currently unable to accept COD shipments. To ensure proper delivery, we highly recommend that you choose a carrier that offers delivery notification (e.g., UPS, USPS or FedEx). 4.Please include the Return Summary in the box.

5.Attach the "Merchandise Return Tag" to the outside of the box along with a copy of the shipping label. 6.Please insure the package for the full merchandise value and return all promotional materials, accessories, manuals, etc. that were included with the original shipment.

You will be notified via email once the return is received and processed with all information about your exchange or refund. Processing Time
OpticsPlanet processes all returns within 10 business days of the receipt of the returned merchandise. Return Requirements
All items must be returned in NEW condition (i.e., not used, broken or worn), in the original manufacturer's packaging and with all original contents included, e.g., instruction manuals, accessories, additional components. OpticsPlanet does not charge restocking fees for most items sent back within 30 days of receipt. Restocking fees do not apply for items that are returned new, unused and with all original packaging and accessories, provided all Return Conditions are met and Return Instructions are followed.
OpticsPlanet reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of up to 15% on returns of opened, used or damaged products and for those returns not following our Return and Exchange Instructions. Please note that OpticsPlanet reserves the right to refuse any returns received in non-sellable condition. Additionally, OpticsPlanet reserves the right to charge additional fees if an item is not returned in its original packaging. Exchanges
OpticsPlanet will gladly fulfill an exchange whenever you are not fully satisfied with a purchase within 30 days of receipt. Please ensure the returned item is in NEW condition (i.e., not used, opened, broken or tested) and does not fall under our Return Policy Exceptions. Please review the Return and Exchange Instructions for more detailed information on generating an exchange. Refunds
To obtain a refund, please adhere to our Return Conditions and Return and Exchange Instructions. Refunds are unable to be issued until the merchandise has been received, evaluated and processed by our Returns Team. Defective Items
Contact us within 30 days of receipt if a package arrives with an item not on the order or the product does not work properly. We will gladly exchange the unwanted item for a suitable replacement. When this occurs, OpticsPlanet furnishes a prepaid shipping label to cover all return shipping charges. Return Period
OpticsPlanet is unable to accept any returns after 30 days elapse from the time of receipt. If you need to return an item after 30 days from receipt, please contact the manufacturer for possible repair or replacement options. Return Exceptions
OpticsPlanet is unable to accept returns or exchanges for the following: Installed goods, e.g., a riflescope mounted and/or assembled onto a weapon
Currently, OpticsPlanet charges restocking fees on the return of: Electronic products
Items removed from plastic blister packaging, e.g., lamps, film, batteries, memory cards, etc. Laboratory items
