I bought it in Jan 2014. After two weeks of use the entire flywheel and other internals required replacement. Service took nearly two months. The service guy even told me what a piece of junk this thing was. Last month the left side pedal arm fell off after I head a thumping from the main Crankshaft area again. I asked for a replacement but was told I had to go with the warranty repair. I am pretty upset with Sears and Nordictrack. Don't buy this item!
I bought this in January 2014. It is a lemon. First the screen didn't function after two months and it lost resistance. I had a hard time getting them to repair it. Finally they sent someone out. And then it lost resistance again intermittently. They sent someone to repair again. Now they are finally replacing it for me after quite a few calls and emails. I sure hope the next one is better.

Bought this bike in April and paid for delivery and set up. It hasn't functioned properly since. The manufacturer has replaced the console twice, sent a tech out to work on it -- and it still doesn't function properly. Beeps uncontrollably, the resistance resets itself back to Level 1 on its own, Level 1 feels like Level 16, and the right pedal flew off. Don't buy. Ich.
Just had this exercise bike delivered. I was able to put it together easily. See instructions on youtube.com the NT GX 5.0 pro is almost identical and there is an excellent video on how to assemble it. Took about 75 minutes from box to riding. Instructions on ifit and how to program the monitor are minimal but you can get up and running on the manual mode easily. So far I'm impressed with this exercise cycle.
I bought this bike because my husband and I have knee and back problems - (years of skiing, hiking etc) At any rate the bike is everything we need to keep up with mobility and aerobic workouts. It was easy to assemble - done in 2 hours. In fact I did the assembly by myself - even though it advised two people. Small complaint regarding which wires connect to which wires. Make sure you have electrical connection nearby. I tried several other models but this one was comfortable, well-built, rated for 350 pounds and is comparable to commercial gym products. Great machine.
Buyers beware! If you buy NordicTrack products from Sears pray that nothing is wrong or you could be waiting forever for repairs. I bought a brand NEW top of the line model weeks ago and after about 10 calls to NordicTrack the machine is still not repaired.
We recently purchased this exercise Recumbent bike and we love it with 2 exceptions. This bike is not for short people, I am 5' 2- 1/2" and the seat is down as far as it can go. Also the Console (control station) is a bit to high up, we are having to look up to see controls, otherwise this is a great unit and we will learn to deal with this.
