Probe cover is substandard: No durability
Possibly the best time and tempearture home device on the market with the exception of the probe cover which wore through and appeared the same as if deliberately cut. To make this measuring device top notch, you should rethink the manufacturing process to include a more substantial probe cover. It won't add that much to the cost and will reduce your returns where the probe has been blamed for non-performance.

Started Out Great...

I was excited to purchase this thermometer and I had a great experience with it...at first.  It was so different to be able to actually leave the probe inside of the meat while the meat was cooking-no more guessing when the meat was done or poking it over and over with a traditional meat thermometer and letting all of the juice run out.  The problem came after several uses, when it started not working, even after I changed the batteries.  Not sure what went wrong, but I bought a different brand/type of thermometer after that.

Came in handy!

Great product, great price and they made cooking our turkey which we stuffed(omg) a cinch. We were able to put one in the bird and one in the stuffing. Then brought the turkey to 155 degrees on the thermometer, dropped the oven from 325 to 225 and the stuffing was allowed to reach 165 on the second thermometer. Moist bird and safe stuffing!

I would recommend this product to a friend.

This Taylor Precision Thermometer changed the way we cook!

The Taylor Precision Cooking Thermometer/Timer is an indispensable tool for the kitchen.  We use this for everything-keeping track of cooking times, of course, but it is so accessible, I use it to remind me when I need to put something in the oven.  The thermometer is a no-brainer.  Just stick the end into the meat before you slide it into the oven, and it will ring when it reaches the proper temperature.  Recommended to ALL home cooks.

(P.S. to all parents:  also useful for tracking time-outs!)

I would recommend this product to a friend.
