Overall
Extremely thin stainless steel, very cheaply produced

We ordered a set of these for our son that is graduate school. Thankfully my husband opened the box before we wrapped it. The two biggest pots each hard a major flaw, the lips which were supposed to be folded around themselves to make a circular top edge of the pots was only partially present, leaving very sharp metal edges sticking out where the top edges should have been folded over. If there was any sort of quality assurance where these are made, they must have been sleeping because these pans were downright dangerous and very able to inflict serious cuts on the unfortunate person that opened the box without paying attention to what they were doing. On the bright side, Sears was very good about taking them back. I guess that this is one of those things that the old adage 'You Get What You Pay For' really applies.
