Everything we buy is typically craftsman. We needed an extra battery for the Craftsman drills that we are using to build a home, so as usual, we went to sears and got a battery - quick and easy and a great product.
I had to take back my original battery. It fit my drill fine, but it did not fit my 1-hour charger. There is a difference between 1-hour and 3-hour charging batteries and the tabs in the charging slot. When I finally got the right battery and put it in the charger, it didn't want to charge as the green "fully charged" light came on. I used it in my drill and could not even drive two wood screws. Put it back in the charger and the green light immediately came on again. It showed about 16 volts. I began to think that my charger was going out, but the instructions with the battery said it would not take a full charge the first couple of times, so I left it in the charger for several hours. Even when showing fully charged, the charger does still provides a trickle charge. Several hours later I took it out and it showed 20 volts and had plenty of juice for my project. It is still charged several days later. I say this to caution people who may think they have a DOA battery to simply be patient with the initial charging process. I have no idea how long this NiCad battery pack may last, but it seems to be at full strength now.

Craftsman 18v Battery #130260001. This is exactly what I was looking for and at a great price!! This is a real Craftsman 18v battery with a great price and fast shipping!!! I fits into the standard charger.
My husband is very satisfied Craftsman tools. Those are the only tools he will buy. They are sturdy and hardly have defects. If it does break, they stand behind their tools. I remember growing up and my Dad also had craftsman tools only. Very happy customer with craftsman tools.
My husband has been using this same battery for years and always request the same kind because they last so long, perform so well and is the only kind he wants! Thanks for such a great product.

Original battery got old so I needed a replacement. This works great and I'm back to my projects! Wife is pretty happy, too. She uses it for minor repairs and for home decor.
For over 30 years my husband has been using these batteries for everything from building new kitchens to just simple hanging photos of loved ones who have left this world. Its one of the most trusted products we own and we purchased two that day. The project this time is a memorial plaque in honor of our beloved pet Rebel, a yellow lab who passed prematurely. We loved him so very much. Thank you Sears.

This is the only replacement option for my Craftsman 18 volt multi -tool set because the technology changed with the Lithium batteries. I like the tools but now I am questioning the cost of maintaining them from year to year. The cost of three years worth of these batteries will get you a nice Lithium tool.

Bought this last week, for my older 18 volt cordless drill/light combo. When I opened it up and slapped it in my drill, it was charged up really good. I dont know if it had a full charge, but after a 3 hr charging, It had full speed and power. The picture dictates a red battery tab, but mine was exactly like the old one"Black tab".Fit right in perfectly! The stock# has changed through the years, but so what! I've read reviews that were bad.Dead battery.Wrong size,ect..ect.. Do your home work people. Make shure your ordering the right volt battery for your drill!! I had absolutely NO PROBLEMS WITH MY REPLACEMENT BATTERY!! I would recomend this replacement battery!!!

I had this drill and light set for years! Got for Christmas from my son's and the batteries died. I could not find a replacement and gave up and threw the set in the corner. I pulled it out to throw away and thought I'll check one more time and BINGO, I bought two and my set is kickin' ****!

This battery is a replacement for one purchased about 1 month ago and would not hold a charge for more than 10-15 minutes. I use it in a drill and small 5' saw and was quite disappointed at the short cycle time before needing recharge. After 10-15 recharges it started expiring quicker until I could barely use it. I hope the new one lasts longer after the charge and after many recharges.

I've used them for several years. I had one that quit charging, and I had to replace my charging unit, as it failed; but, after reading a suggestion to "jump" the 18.0 volt battery, I linked it with clips to a 12 volt car battery charger and now the battery that I thought was no longer useful, charges up just fine. I now have 4 batteries, which will help me keep one or 2 fully charged while I use one or 2 on a project! I am planning to do a little more research and see if I might be able to switch to a 19.2 volt, Lithium battery in the future. We'll see. Until then, I have 4 good batteries that I plan to keep charged up to use. The cordless, reversible, and variable speed drill was was one of the best tools anyone every gave me. I use it all the time!
