I am a diesel mechanic and have had this set since 2002. I have never had to have any of them replaced. I work with guys who have snap on and cornwell tools, and I can tell you first hand nothing short of 'easy outs' will take out allens that have already been rounded out, nor will anyones chrome stand up to abuse from an impact wrench. If you use these properly, you will have no trouble. And I will second someones earlier comment, I always tap these in with a hammer to make sure they are fully seated, and to help break the bolt loose.
We had a job that required heavier tools than just a regular set of Allen wrenches could handle so we bought this set and they performed perfectly. We were able to complete our project and we even bought an extra set today so we will never be without them
I thought my life was pretty complete. When I purchased this socket set, I realized I had been DEAD WRONG. This hex bit socket set was the key to successfully removing the front brake calipers for my wife's 2005 Chrysler Sebring. What would of happened if I have not of had this tool? Would I still be here today? These are the questions that keep me up at night. And I don't know how much more I can take.
This set of bits was purchased for my husband's Father's Day gift. I did not know what it was, but the sales staff figured it out! He has an inexpensive set and wanted a better set. I would like to have gotten him the best set available.
This is a great set that comes with a handy plastic carry tray. The sockets themselves are strong, and they fit like they are supposed to in the hex heads. Lifetime warranty, too.
Great quality that is expected from craftsman. Tools work great no problems with sizes being a little off like some cheaper sets, I would definitely buy craftsman over other name brands.
I've been needing a decent set of these for a while and finally bit on the sale price. Finish on the set I grabbed is pretty good and they have worked fine so far.
This item comes in a plastic "rack" for display purposes, but it frankly works pretty well for storage. I found an old stock USA made set, and with other USA made craftsman tools, I have and will have good luck with the tool. the new china made tools wont hold up nearly as well, so be alert when shopping, and try to find a NOS USA made set.

I am always impressed with Craftsman. They are great quality and if something goes wrong the warranty covers it. I am definitely craftsman loyal and would recommend this to everyone.

I have had no problems with this socket set. Worth the money and save a lot of time over using a standard allen wrench. I have used these with my 3/8" impact many times and have not broken one yet. Craftsman needs to make a set with longer heads for hard-to-access fasteners. Even a set with the ball-end would be nice.

Bought this Craftsman hex bits when they were on sale. What a bargain. I know they are dependable for they are well made and very strong. I know I can depend on the Craftsman brand. I like attaching them to my wrench so I can get enough torque to loosen the bolt. The hex bit attach perfectly.

I've owned and used literally hundreds of sets of thes hex sets, and we that use them know full well they are prone to rounding out at the tips which renders the useless. This Craftsman set thus far has taken a lot of daily abuse from me at work and at home and have weathered the normal, and occasional abnormal use without much if any wear and tear. I've gotta say that my Craftsman tools are m uch more superior to any other I have used and/or owned. I love my Craftsman tools!!!
