Excellent product.cut the weight of my c3 drill in half wish I had it from the start.when my c3 batteries started to die after 6 years I bought the lithium- ion batteries great choice .
I bought this to replace the second one a brought to replace the first one I bought. The first two work until the warrant expired and stopped charging batteries after the one year period. Sears needs to fix the charger unit since your have to charge the batteries for all the C3 tools. I would recommend that you not buy any C3 19.2 tools. Other brands have reliable chargers.

This was purchased to replace a very old set of NiCad batteries and chargers. This new set charges quickly, and lasts much longer than the old NiCad set, and the drill works better than ever.
This battery/charger set is a real improvement over the previous batteries that were furnished with my Craftsman drill set. The best part is that the battery can be left on the charger without having the "memory" effect of older batteries.

I bought this to replace an older charger that quit shortly after the warranty period. If I didn't already have several Craftsman tools with 19.2 volt batteries, I probably would not have bothered and would have gone with a different brand.
I was replacing my original 19.2v NiCd batteries and thought this Lithium would probably be a better option...well, other than having to buy another charger, the Lithium battery performs as advertized, it is awesome, lighter, more power, and longer lasting. I definitively recommend it!
I have many of the C3 series tools, but still had the Nickel Cadmium batteries that were beginning to fail, so I decided it was time to upgrade to the Lithium Ion batteries. I'm sure happy I did. I felt the extra power while using them and the longer usage means less recharges. The upgrade was well worth the investment if you use your tools much.
I've had the c3 line of tools for many years the 19.2 volt 4 pack is what I owned first but for the price of the old style batteries it was just as cheap to buy a new drill and driver setup with the batteries and charger included and they work well as long as the bakeries are good but this new lithium ion batteries are like night and day well worth the price and the extra warranty for three years.
I have a bunch of C3 tools.... with old Nicad batteries. I was tired of the constant short cycles and dead batteries. They would always run out of juice right before you were finished, I decided to bite the bullet and upgrade to Lithium Ion. What a difference! POWER WHEN YOU NEED IT !! HIGHLY RECOMMEND THESE BATTERIES. You must buy the proper charger, but then you Are Set! Buy one extra heavy duty battery !

Six of my Ni-cads gave up the ghost. I purchased this set plus another pair of batteries. These do have more kick and last a lot longer than the other style. I have more than 20 of the C3 tools and love every one of them.
Bought three new lithium batteries to replace my old weak NiCad batteries, after just 6 months one of the new batteries won't charge. Charger says defective battery. For the price that these go for you would think that they would last longer than that. Going to go dewalt, al least if you spend big bucks on them you know you are getting quality.
I was very diappointed with this kit. It did not hold a charge for much more than 1/2 hours. My Hammer Drill came with two diehard inserts and a charger and help the charge much longer. I suspect I was sold a bill of goods in buying the lithium-ion kit along with the Hammer Drill set with die hard batteries.
The Ni-Cad battery that came with my drill died when I placed it on its original charger while it was still hot. That charger tried charging it for 10 minutes and showed a defective code for the battery. This new charger revived that Ni-Cad battery and charged it in half the time as the old charger. // The maintain mode in this charger removes the hassle of timing your charge. The cord length is ample and the charger can be hung on the wall. Wish the sears website would clearly describe that this charger can handle Ni-Cad and Li-Ion and also that it can handle 12.0-19.2 volt batteries. // Li-Ion is way superior than Ni-Cad in terms of power, weight and charging time. The compact Li-Ion battery that came with this combo is okay but drilling into concrete would drain that in about 10 minutes. Upgrade to the high capacity or XCP Li-Ion is recommended for heavy duty use.
