I picked up this set and replaced my mis-matched odds and ends that I had collected. These tools are built to the same design specs as their bigger brothers. I love the padded case that keeps them clean and organized in my tool chest.
Pick up a set today - you'll thank me tomorrow!
Let's start by saying the zippered case is really nice. But the tools themselves are poor quality. All three of the needle nose pliers are off, and don't match up when closed. The long nose plier is really off, the tips don't even touch when closed. The metal part of the tool only extends into the plastic handle halfway. It's just a metal stub inserted into the plastic handle about an inch. The metal doesn't run the full length into the handle, and the plastic handle is really flimsy. One of the wire cutter tools the tips don't match up, making it impossible to even cut anything if the two cutting surfaces don't mate up.

This is a very nice set of pliers for doing light work. By light work I mean they are excellent hobby pliers and for small scale electrical jobs. These are not fence pliers! I get a laugh out of reviews where people are using the wrong tool for the job - like using a screwdriver as a chisel. The case is a nice addition to keep the set together without getting lost.
These work fine, but I wouldn't describe them as the heartiest tools. If you need to get into smaller spaces, they work, but don't try and bend anything to heavy with them.
As always Sear's Craftsman tool have come through. I do a lot of different kinds of crafts and at times have trouble finding the right size tools I need. This mini plier set could have been made to order just for me. Though I haven't used it much as of yet, I can already tell it is going to make my crafting so much easier. Sears and Craftsman thank you once again for coming through. I would suggest all crafting people have a set of these mini pliers. I can hardly wait for other mini sets to appear.

Purchased this setset because it was on sale and I liked the case. Turns out the case is really nice, but so are the pliers. I have pulled it out a number of times and its just the right tool. These pliers are very good for detail work with limited clearance and where my fingers won't fit. There's just no replacement for the right tool, and this is a great set of pliers for detail, non real heavy duty work.

these are some very sturdy tools I couldn't believe how well made these where compared to some previously bought plyer sets from sears. the one thing I felt like a pair was missing it just didn't feel complete
Never thought I would need these things but when I need to cut things for wiring to zip ties this makes the job easy. Like the case I can just through it in my toolbag. Got it on sale for $16.
Needed smaller tool set for my antique radio repair work. Sears had it on sale at a very reasonable price. Each tool works as it should and all are easy to maneuver in tight places.
We just used this set in a project at work! They are awesome and its is more awesome they came in a zippered case so they would not be lost

My friend bought this set for me to use when restoring old razors, shaving brushes and small writing slopes. They are very handy when dealing with the related small parts. They are well built and reflect Craftsman workmanship.
The big draw back on this set is the diagonal cutters. I don't carry them in my tools because the handle interferes so badly that they are a waste to own. I use the rest of the set regularly with no problem.
This item was bought as a gift for a friend of ours. Not knowing for sure when I went into the store what would be best (me being female and the friend a male) I stuck to some tips my husband had giving me figuring we could return it if I totally messed up. Well - not only was our friend thrilled, the other men in the room were too. Wonderful product with lots of uses.
purchased but immediately returned. pliers tips mis-aligned and poorly made/ground, handles are cheap, and I would expect more from a craftsman. I am not opposed to Chinese made tools, some of which are fairly well made, including the craftsman brand universal ratcheting wrenches, which have held up nicely. But, when you look at the American made craftsman pliers, they are made much better--the tips align, joints are well finished, handles fit well, etc. Was hoping for more from craftsman, but yet another disappointment from them. My brand loyalty has worn thin.
The quality is great. I am using these tools while building RC airplanes, and it does the task very well. I recommend these tools in this application.
The metal is not symmetrical in thickness and appears to be of made in China quality. Not like good old USA quality. Each half should be the same size and mesh together at the teeth/face interface like a pair of tweezers. Metal is soft and not hardened steel; heat treating not done right or at all.
