      Search them out.

These are very hard to find in stores, but you can find them on Craftsman.com for about $26, and buy them up.  Buy them for yourself, your dads, sons, buddies, they are just plain good.  Made in the USA and guarnteed forever, these are much better than the standard pliers Craftsman makes.  They are very comfortable in your hands and sturdy for sure.  I use them around the house for odds and ends, and also in working on my cars.  They stand up to quite a bit of use and are just crazy good to own.  Again, buy them if you can find them.

Save Time and Buying the Set Saves Money...

I am a 54 year old retired home builder. I have worked with my hands all of my life. I have hobbies that include woodworking and cabinetry building and restoring vintage Porsches. One day when I was cleaning out my garage/workshop, I realized that my, once extensive, tool collection had been decimated. My teenage son, who is 27 now, also likes to work with tools. The problem was that he didn't much like to put them away. I was missing many sockets and my screwdrivers and pliers were rusted from being left out. I decided to give my son what was left of my tools and I planned to start from scratch.

I researched all of the major brands. I visited the big box stores and even talked to a Snap-On Salesman. I wanted to make sure that I bought the very best that I could afford and then I would guard them from use be anyone else. None of the other tools I looked at had a complete line of wrenches, screwdrivers and pliers that I would consider top of the line except maybe Snap-On. They were crazy expensive though and making arrangements to meet the truck with cash was going to be difficult. In the end I decided on Craftsman Professional and I haven't regretted that decision for one minute. These are some of the things I love about these tools:

      1. Heavy & Strong - These pliers have a quality feel to them.
      2. Business End - The jaws and pivot action of these pliers has a very smooth operation.
      3. Handles - The grips of these pliers feels good in my hands. They are made in a way that reduces slippage and user fatigue.
      4. Finish - I love the way these tools look in my toolbox. The combination of the black finish and polished highlights is just plain classy.
      5. Origin - All Craftsman Professional tools are still manufactured right here in the good old USA.
      6. Warranted - Lifetime - No questions Asked (Period)

I can't think of anything that I could possibly want in a pair of pliers and I am a very picky person. Try a set out for yourself. You can't go wrong with these bad boys.

      Good product!

Good Product, but i wish it was $15. Thankfully I will never have to buy a plier set again because it has a life time warranty.

The Best That Money Can Buy

I have had these pliers for over 5 years and besides being a little dirty they are outstanding. The handles feel great in my hands, their is no discomfort whatsoever. The rubber is textured and gives off just enough cushion so that the handles do not dig into my palms. The teeth are the best i've seen at biting into stuff and are pointed backwards to add even more grip. Cheaper models have the teeth pointed straight out which are more prone to slippage. The grooves on the arc pliers are also well made in that the pliers do not accidentally switch positions when i am working.

I have owned several different brands of pliers in the past and nowadays i will not buy anything except these. Overall i am much more satisfied than i ever thought possible. I liked these pliers so much i bought multiple sets one for my work and one for my home.

PLEASED WITH THE VALUE OF THE PRODUCT!!!

I am very pleased with this product. I purchased these pliers for my grandfather. I was not familiar with all the different pliers, but he is very happy with this choice. I feel like I could not have chose a better set of pliers, and so far, they have worked great for him!!!

The Craftsman Professional 2 pc Pliers Set is a good value.

I bought these pliers to be part of a lighter mobile set of hand tools in a Craftsman 16" metal hand box.  The plastic tote tray did not accomodate the arc joint pliers very well so I put the slip joint and long nose pliers in the tote tray with the screwdrivers, hex keys, and measuring tape.  The arc joint and diagonal pliers were stored in the bottom of the tool box with the combination wrenches, hammers, punches, nut drivers, and adjustable wrenches.  Overall, they are a great set of pliers.

      good set, fair price

This is a nice set. Pliers are nice, channel locks work good. The 2 piece set is a much better value then buying them by themselves.

      nice pliers

I priced both separately, this is a good set for the price. The small pliers are convienent and fit right in my pockets. The channnel lock pliers are great for turning unions and bolts. The only problem that I have with these pliers, is that the channel lock pliers have broken on me, when I had them fully extended trying to twist a 1 1/2 inch nut. So wear your safety glasses.

I would recommend this product to a friend.
