I bought this craftsman screw-out set to remove some damaged stripped screws on a dresser. I can tell you from my exspirence they work very very good. I loved how well they worked and with that I had more damaged screws to take out because I really am impressed with how well they work. Oh and the stripped screws I was removing were 3 inch screws. Love that they are in a case that way I cant loose them in my tool box.

I ordered this item on Apr 29, received on May 15. I own a motorhome that has many rusted screws that will not come out. Ordered this item to drill out and replace factory junk. Followed the instructions to the letter, nothing happened. I can drill out with a drill bit much faster and at least it will work. This screw-out product will not even drill out a screw. Very disappointed in Sears!
Wanted to remove a pair of shower drain screws with Philips head that would not turn using regular screwdrivers. This product was completely useless - it jus ended up completely stripping whatever little was left of the screwheads. I used a regular cordless drill/driver combo at the lowest (driver) torque setting.
the screw out damaged screw remover set is a handy tool to remove stubborn stripped screws you commonly encounter in home repairs, no more trying to use pliers to remove the screws.it is a very handy tool
This came in super handy when I was trying to fix an old lamp in the porch. The philips screw was rusted and the screw was stripped. This got the job done.
Besides the price being attractive, this screw removal tool set is so easy to use! Each piece fits a certain screw head and digs itself into broken and stripped screws quickly and effectivvely! The 3 piece sets comes in a neat carrying case that keeps all the pieces together! Thank you Cratsman!

We've all had the screw that just won't come out because the head is stripped. Well this set is the answer to that issue. You'll never have a screw that you can't get out again!

I've had this set for about 4 years I believe and have used it a number of times on a variety of screws including stainless steel. The trick is to go slow with the drill when extracting - if you hit it too fast it will simply cut a larger hole in the screw head. As long as you use it properly it will work as described.

They do just what they are designed for- removes damaged screws. Works well on other screws as well. Be sure to use a hex driver first. Once you get the hang of it you can make it.

I purchased this kit to get rid of damaged screws from all the cheap screws that come with electronic appliances and furniture. It works well. Tip: turn SLOWLY. I like that it comes with a case as well.
These don't seem quite as amazing as the bolt-outs, but for the money, I don't see how you can beat them. Everybody should have a set of these around for the less than stellar hardware that seems to come with products these days.
