I had my doubts about this capabilities of this vacuum when I received it; it seemed far too lightweight to handle heavy-duty cleaning. I was wrong. I love this vacuum! It's easy to carry up and down the stairs, is compact, so it's perfect for those that live in a small house, apartment or dorm but vacuums comparable to any vacuum I've ever owned.
Right out of the box, I needed no tools to assemble. I had it ready to use in less than two minutes! The onboard tools are few, but get the job done. I'm also having a little trouble keeping them attached to the stick when not in use, but that's not really a concern for me. I love the telescoping handle because it makes the storage footprint that much smaller.
It picks up great and restores the plush of the carpet so it's not smashed down. It's also easy to clean, though I would suggest paying attention to how you disassemble the filter; there are three components and took me a little time to remember how they reassembled.
The hose extends really far! I was able to make it up my flight of stairs without having to haul the vacuum with me. I've not owned a vacuum that has a hose that's so compact yet stretches so far! I like how you also have the option to turn off the brush roll so you can vacuum tile or wood floors. It also lays flat so you can get under tables, furniture and beds without an issue.
All of the filters rinse easily under water so there's no need to spend more on bags and filters. It also has a no-scuff bumper so you're less likely to damage baseboards.
I received a sample of this product to facilitate my review, but my opinions are entirely my own.
This vacuum has wonderful suction and is light weight. I have two dogs that shed like crazy and my old vacuum kept getting clogged and just not working well(it was barely 5 years old). I didnt want to waist anymore money on a vacuum but so far so good.....
This was a Christmas present for my mother. Yes this is what she asked for, because it is very lightweight but still includes all the useful attachments. However, the only complaint is that the hose that you detach from the vacuum and hook to the attachments is extremely hard to detach it requires a lot of hand strength which my 84 year old mother does not have. Overall, this is an excellent vacuum and does a great job.
I purchased this vacuum on clearance and Wow! I am very impressed so far. It sucks everything up! It is easy to dump after using and small enough to store in tight spaces. Highly recommend.

I loved this vacuum cleaner but it quit working just after 15 months of service. I am aggravated that the motor just quit working just as the warranty had ended. I will buy another Hoover Windtunnel vacuum cleaner but with a rewind cord. I hated manually rewinding the cord. This vacuum really cleaned and never lost suction as long as it worked. I bought it on sale and it has been worth every penny. Don't be afraid to purchase this model.
I love it so much I never knew I had so much dirt it really picks the dirt up, and it has the handy tools no bags to buy, Even does hard wood floors, not to heavy , I even bought my son one and they love it.
this vacuum cleaner is lightweight and does a great job, and it is bagless . It is also very easy to remove the bagless cannister and put it back in place. I enjoy working with it from room to room.

I wish I was as lucky as some of the other reviewers here. I bought this about a month ago and on the first day not one but two of the hoses came out of their attachment points wow was I disappointed. But I loved the fact that it had a long cord it is so easy to push it and it's so easy to take around the house with you. That being said my house is all 100% hardwood flooring one of the biggest reasons I bought this vacuum was due to the infomercial as I'm sure many of you have seen. In the Infomercial they take several of these vacuums and stick them to the wall and they supposedly stay there under their own suction power, And that they do not back spray dirt to the back. If you do this make sure you have something soft underneath it because the vacuum most certainly will not stick to the wall under its own suction power. However?? I have found two different things that make this vacuum nearly irreplaceable. I know this may sound like a lot of work to a few people but I have hardwood floors and I found that unlike the commercial this vacuum in particular shoots dog year from the front to the back if I have the roller on if I turn the roller off it does not do this however it then doesn't pick up virtually anything because it gets clogged towards the one spot on the right where it is actually suctioning. So, What I found to be extremely effective was sticking one thin piece of weatherstrip foam towards the backside of the cleaner we're all the material would normally spray out the back. I also used an epoxy in the two spots where the hoses would tend to come apart I let it dry two days, and problem solved with the hoses coming out. Also problem solved with using this on my hard floors this thing picks up everything on the first pass when you have that piece of weatherstripping on the back. So question is, is it really worth it to you to buy a piece of weatherstripping to stick on the backside of this vacuum for the poor Job that they did in making this floor cleaner pick up on bare floors? And secondly do you really want to buy a vacuum that has a 14 foot or whatever long hose that you can't really use unless you epoxy the hose connections into their designated holders? Well I paid less than $80 for this vacuum on clearance. The service I received at sears was nothing short of world-class and also for me I know that sears stands behind their products so I wouldn't have to worry about returning and if I needed to. And lastly I happen to have about 20 feet of leftover weatherstripping sitting around my house along with epoxy that is perfectly gray in color so for me it was a no-brainer however what absolutely blows my mind is how the engineers at Hoover could not notice these obvious OBVIOUS shortcomings on the design of this vacuum and then spend millions of dollars advertising it on infomercials. They could Have fixed obvious errors for literally pennies on the vacuum and everyone would have raving reviews.

The hose came unglued the second day I used it. The first day I loved it, it is light, easy to empty the dirt catch, and it has good suction. However the second day the hose came unglued/disconnected and though you can screw it back in, it doesn't stay for long when you are using it. I see other people have had the same problem. I'm taking it back.
Great suction. Moves like a self-powered vacuum. Long cord. Gaskets at joints that prevent dust leakage as ini a previous purchase of lightweight Eureka. Sturdy, wellmade. Easy to remove and empty dust. Accessories easy to store and access. So far, we love it.

Light, works great. Quieter than my other sweepers. Guess it's next to impossible to find a sweeper that is really quiet. Easy to take apart and clean. Gets into places my bigger sweeper can't. Doesn't kill my back when I use it. Nice long cord. Attachments easy to use.
My previous vacuum was a Bissell that I paid less than $75 for and it worked great until it all of a sudden died on me after 5 years of use. I read reviews about the Hoover Wind tunnel and thought I'd step it up a notch and buy an even better vacuum cleaner for a little more money. NOT SO! On my very first use I had to stop and dig the debris out of the hose after every 2 to 3 minutes. I keep a fairly clean house and although I have a dog I'd never had this trouble with my previous vacuum cleaner. My dog is a medium sized, short haired Pittador (Pitt/Lab mix) who doesn't shed much. I never finished vacuuming the rug where I had started. After becoming frustrated and angry I put the vacuum back in the box and will be returning it A.S.A.P. Maybe I got a bad machine...I don't know but I do know I won't be getting this one again.
We bought this about a month ago used it aprox 3 times so far, and the attachment hose twice, when doing basic corners the hose became unattached/unglued, now I did read the other reviews and thought by now the problem would have been fixed, but no, so we returned it to Sears and explained the issue, and bought the new model that swivels, hoping the hose is better attached now, it seems just by looking at it that it is.... time will tell, but the vacuum itself is great, other than the hose issue I loved it, except had to pay more of course for the new model, but on the plus side it does come with a much longer warranty period, so when we test the new one out I will post reviews on it... fingers crossed ;)

Was really excited for this vacuum. good price and it really has awesome suction, though I worried there would not be much left of my area rug after a while. Attaching all those hose parts was annoying. After a week or two it started making a high pitched whining sound. The noise was coming from the hose. I figured I could live with that. Exaclty two months after I bought it the hose detached from the canister part. I wasn't even using the hose separately at the time, I was just vacuuming the floor and it just fell off. I had purchased the Sears Purchase Protect Plan. They would have given me a check to buy a new one minus the $20 for the purchase protect. If I wanted to protect the new one I'd have to buy the Protect again. ridiculous. The manager at sears allowed to return the thing for a full refund even though it was a couple days past the return limit.
vacuum rocks but they have a problem with the hose. ours broke right away and we had to contact Hoover for resolution. they admitted theyve had a problem with this hose and the part was backordered for over a month. Not happy:(
Purchased to replace a Hoover model over twenty years old. This vac is much superior in terms of vacuum ability and ease of use. I doubt it will last as long as the vac it replaced but am very happy with its performance.

Love this great little vac. Extremely stong suction, easy to use. Having arthritis everywhere it was almost impossible to use our vac. I read all revs on lots of sites. Its true that it picks up, have to empty every room i vac. It is the finest dirt coming up. A few reviews said it broke in a few months, to be safe, i opted for the 2 year replacement plan. The tools are a little small, but it is light to use the extension. Highly recommend this vac. We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, great on pet hair, and those of us with pets know it can be stubborn. I waited a few weeks to write this review, just to be sure i was still loving it.
