The unit is very quiet and nice and fits nicely were our old one used to be. My experience in buying it was deplorable. Not another customer was any where near the appliance department and I had to virtually plead with a guy who was moving other items around to help me. Then he went back to what he was doing rather then assist us in answering questions about the microwave and I had to go get him again to complete the sale. Couple that with I think his boss thought he wasn't doing anything so this guy yells across the entire appliance floor that he was helping a customer. If either of these guys worked for me and acted that way, I would have had security walk them out of the building along with their last paycheck.
My old one 1.5 cu.ft. died. This new one is huge, ideal for my 5 qt. pots. Although it's not a problem, I wish the lighting inside was lot brighter. It's silent. Love it. Already got compliments from guests.
My old, lovely microwave oven- died. I went to Sears because I like the Kenmore brand and found exactly the oven I needed to fill the built- in space above my stove. I loved the design and was surprised how quiet the new model was, but the biggest surprise was the low price. I felt that I had won a prize.

Great looks, works great, I do not like the beebing that follows after each use. Will not quit beeping until you open door.
We have been using this Microwave for last 4 months (Mid 2015). It is fantastic. The pull open door handle for a counter top microwave is very rare, but it is clearly the best option based on physics. I will never understand the push-a-button to open the door microwaves. Oh, you just have to press "cook time" and then you can program any time amount desired. Several other reviews were bad based on that complaint. It's not an issue. Just press "cook time" first. Great looking. Solidly built. Great Price. Sears your website needs help. Trying to purchase items is very challenging. Too many bugs, freezes, and what not. Great products; fix your website. Thank you.
Easy to operate, big enough for a family of four who uses a microwave quite a lot. Looks good and seems easier to clean than some microwaves. Very happy with the defrost mode and looking forward to softening butter.
This microwave beeps very loudly and if you don't race over and open the door as soon as its done, it will keep beeping again and again. I find this to be a complete nuisance. I regret not returning it when I had the chance.
Very quiet operation and love the extra large capacity. Heats the food quickly compared to other microwaves I used and had to discard. The black and stainless steel are a perfect match for my kitchen.

Our last microwave was the standard under the cabinet model. It cooked well, and was big and ugly. This one is big and pretty. It is mounted in the wall and with the trim kit looks like a custom model. It is cavernous, much bigger than our last one. It cooks fast, is quiet, not much more to ask far. The only negative is that the LED lights are blue, our other appliances have green LEDs. I assume the difference between Kenmore and Kenmore Elite. The green has a much better viewing angle and distance viewing by the way.

It's big...I mean big. takes up a lot of counterspace, so be warned. We had enough space to accomodate, but if you're iffy, go smaller. Having said that, we really like it. It's relatively quiet and does a really good job with the sensor heating. It also looks really slick and matches other stainless appliances nicely. There's no obvious custom look or branding that makes it immediately stand out as a different brand of appliance (we have a combination of different stainless brands in the kitchen). Would buy again.
finding a countertop microwave that would replace one I had that stopped working wasn't easy. Kenmore had the closest match for what I was looking for. It was stainless to match my other appliances, had a handle rather than a push button which was something I was looking for. It also was big enough at 2.2 cubic feet to handle a 9/13 baking pan which I frequently use when cooking food in the microwave. It cooks evenly and quickly and looks nice in my kitchen.
it is a great looking microwave lots of room. I just dont think it has the power it should have. But we are still trying to figure it out so maybe it is our fault im not sure overall it is a good product
Love this microwave! I've had it for about one month now. I wanted something large enough to warm up my casserole dishes for parties. This one is easy to use, looks great, and is much quieter than my old one. Plus, the price was right, under $200!
We bought this microwave after remodeling our kitchen. Our new appliances are stainless steel. We had a white, 10 year old Kenmore that was working perfectly fine; we just wanted it to match our new appliances. So, we donated our old Kenmore to charity and bought this one when it was on sale for 149.99. We absolutely love it! It's absolutely beautiful to start. It has this cool Knightrider thing going on when it's in use, with the blue running lights. We love the way it cooks so evenly. Love the 1-touch feature and that you can also still set a custom cook time. Our old Kenmore had a handle, so I love the fact that this model has one as well. The only negative is it has 5 long beeps at the end of the cycle. I could swear our old microwave had 4 beeps. By that 5th beep, you're like, "...OK! Shut up already!" Otherwise, it's big, beautiful and just looks awesome on our countertop. All for less than $150. Very glad we purchased it.
