Wanted a good all-stainless washer to replace our washer that came with our condo. Loved all the features and the quality feel of this washer. Installed it myself using the install kit which made it a bit of a breeze. hardest part was leveling up the washer with my apparently crooked counter-top. Have had for about 10 months and it's been working rather well. We tend to use the 1-hour wash since it seems to clean everything really effectively. Very pleased with this purchase.

We have had this product for less than 2 years and have been so unhappy. It is extremely sensitive to any stuck on foods and if you don't thoroughly scrub your dishes before you put them in, the machine becomes very gonked up. I have tried everything to keep it sanitary but nothing works. We have had nothing but problems with it. It's only redeeming quality is it is very quiet.
I bought over a year ago and it is the best dishwasher I ever had. It cleans my dishes perfectly every time. It also seems to hold a lot more than my last dishwasher, so I do not have to run it as often, which is good since a wash cycle does take about twice as long (2 1/2 to 3 hours) as my old dishwasher, but the results are much better. I love the stainles steel interior; it looks better than a plastic interiro and will not yellow over time like a plastic one. This dishwasher is so quiet that the forst few times I used it, I wasn't sure it was actually running, but it was.
I have had this installed for about a year now and love it! It is easy to load, and holds everything I've wanted to wash. (Have not tried cookie sheets as mine are non-stick and shouldn't be in the dishwasher anyway). The only thing that is a little iffy about it is the utensil holder. I like the slots more than I thought I would, but the real downfall is that you have to handle them by the "eating" end to unload, so you better be sure your hands (and any little helper's hands) are clean. I saved my utensil holder from my 20+ year old dishwasher and it slips right into place, so have ended up using it instead. Another strength was that since we were putting it in a remodeled kitchen, the floor to countertop measurement was a little tight, and this was the only dishwasher we found that had the flexibility to fit, yet was still a full size dishwasher. We had to take the wheels off, but just squeezed it in.
This dishwasher has been a disaster. I've had for about a year and the heating element stopped working. It is as noisy as a jet aircraft. It smells absolutely awful when turned on initially. It has cost a fortune in water and power because I'm constantly cleaning it with vinegar and baking soda; to no avail. Without a doubt, this is the worst household appliance we've ever purchased from, period!. Don't buy this dishwasher!!!
I found the dishwasher runs for 3-4 hrs to complete a wash and dry. Interior does not get completely dry at the end of the drying cycle. I have to open the door to finish with air dry and it takes up to 2 days to completely dry. It is very quiet.

I purchased this dishwasher in October of 2013 from my local Sears store. Within a couple weeks of installation, I noticed water coming from the bottom side of the float. I called the Sears Service to schedule an appointment. I ran the dishwasher a few more time and the leak seemed to have stopped. I cancelled my appointment. We only run the dishwasher about once a week. About a month later, I noticed the dishwasher was leaking again. I scheduled another appointment. The first technician looked at the dishwasher and said he couldn't see it leaking, despite the fact I told him exactly where the problem was. After a short time, I scheduled another service call for the dishwasher leaking again. The customer service representatives who schedules these service calls have no idea about the mechanics of these appliances. They shipped me a new motor for leak. I called them back and told them the motor was fine and it was leaking from the bottom side of the float. After looking at the dishwasher diagram, I called the customer service rep. and requested them to mail a rubber washer, along with another part that could have been the problem with the float, prior to the service date. The service technician arrived for the second service call. He took the float apart and the rubber washer that was supposed to originally installed in the dishwasher wasn't there. He installed the rubber washer I had requested, and the problem seemed to be cleared up. Six months later the dishwasher has started leaking again. Unfortunately, despite my continuous problems with this dishwasher, Sears will not come and service the leak due to the fact my one year warranty ended 3 weeks ago. They tried to sale me an extended warranty that would cost almost just as much as a new dishwasher. This machine is a lemon and I would not recommend to anyone. You will be sadly disappointed You will end up with a leaky dishwasher that no one will take responsibility for and a puddle of water on your floor. I guarantee my next dishwasher will not be a Kenmore.

I absolutely love this dishwasher, especially the turbo clean feature. Stainless steel tub wears well, and much quieter than my previous machine. Lots of adjustability in the racks to get even my most awkward shaped casserole dishes in.
Got a great deal on this, does excellent job of cleaning, is much quieter than the unit it replaced. Really impressed by the Turbozone feature, tried it with a casserole dish left (purposely) overnight with baked on cheese. It passed that test with flying colors, came out completely clean and sparkling. Only had it a couple of weeks, but so far no complaints. I do wish the silverware basket was customizable instead of one long unit, as my previous one was, then it would be perfect.
Please note people that the racks are not nylon. Maybe they are nylon coated but a magnet should not stick to nylon. The silverware rack may be nylon but most of the racks are steel with a coating just like my old dishwasher. The dishwasher is much quieter than my 20 year old fancy Kenmore unit that it replaced. The unit does make some low tone noises that sound like our garage door is opening but it is not loud. Just a low tone. I tried using the dishwasher without the Jetdry rinse aide but the dishes would not dry. It really must be used to aid in getting the water off the dishes. The dishes get much dryer if you crack the door open after the unit shuts off and let them air dry for a few hours. This is with or without the heated drying option. Not sure why my other dishwasher dried better using no heat. I reviewed other dishwashers and think this is a common problem with the new energy efficient models. I only have 2 people in the house and wash about twice a week. I like the 1 hour wash option because the sound is more constant. The regular long cycle sounds like it turns on and off a lot to save energy and use the 2 hours to help soak the dishes clean. I would rather hear a constant hum than a start and stop all the time. It cleans well with the 1 hour wash but I do not put the dishes until they have had a quick rinse/sponge. I have not tried the Turbo option so I can't comment on that. The Stainless interior looks nice. I like the removable silverware rack compared to some models that have it in the door. I think KitchenAid makes this unit. Their interior looks the same. The dishwasher seems like it hold just as much or more than my old unit. I have not used the adjustable rack height yet. I got this thing for $535 minus $50 coupon code for using my Sears Card so it ended up about $485 plus tax.
Cleans very well and very spacious. Doesn't dry completely, but does a better job if you use a rinse agent. I haven't tried yet but it might help to open the door after the dishwasher has finished running.

The things I like about my Kenmore dishwasher is that it is very quiet and does a very good job of cleaning the dishes. My one major dislike is that the bottom rack is so low to the floor. It is not convenient to have to bend down so far to load and unload. The Kenmore dishwasher that this new one replaced was 23 years old!!!! To me, this shows that Kenmore's are dependable.
I like the stainless tub interior. Only problem was the cover for the rinse aid was missing. Customer service is shipping a new one this week.
Do not hesitate to buy. We have had this for about 6+ months now. 6 months later I still tell my husband how happy I am with this purchase. Cleans great! Pretty quiet. Takes a while, but that does not bother me at all. Prior to this I bought a GE dishwasher and it was awful and cleaned NOTHING then the GE broke 6 months later! I bought this dishwasher to replace the GE and I could not be happier. I have had many Kenmore appliances and have never had a complaint about one.
