I purchased this machine to replace a 15 year old Maytag. I am very satisfied with my purchase. I find this machine much quieter than my old machine. For now I'm only using the 1 hour wash and I don't use heated dry. When the cycle is complete, I open the door to let the steam out and air dry. I like the bottom rack, but the top rack doesn't hold as many dishes as my old machine. the spindles are not very efficient.
I bought this dishwasher for my fiancé a couple weeks ago, and she couldn't be more happier with it. It's very quiet, and just does great in general. Very happy with this product! And what was even better, it was in stock at the store. It's very easy to operate, it has the dual agitators which gets the dishes extraordinarily clean!!! Very pleased with this product!!!!!!!
I recently purchased this dishwasher for my elderly mother. I was looking for a basic dishwasher without a bunch of extra features (that may be confusing to my mom). This dishwasher was simple to install, looks nice, has all the necessary features, and seems to work great. This is just what she needed!

I replaced a twenty five year old dishwasher with this one. The dishwasher arrived when it was scheduled and was easy to install. We have used it a few times since installing it. The dishwasher works fine. I would recommend this dishwasher to friends. Sears associate was a pleasure to do business with.

Purchased to replace 10 year old Kenmore dishwasher. The old Kenmore was rusting out so we had to replace it. The new dishwasher takes much longer to run. does a poorer job of washing dishes and doesn't do a very good job of drying the dishes. We read the reviews about the change in dishwasher detergents and the amount of water that is used in the newer dishwashers but we thought we would get a better machine. Had I known, I probably would have rebuilt the old dishwasher and bought new dish racks instead of investing in a new unit.
This is a great value in a dishwasher. It has all of the features needed to effectively clean dishes, at a fraction of the cost (when On sale). The noise level is higher than the more expensive units due to the plastic tub, but if you are not sensitive to muffled noises in another room that shouldn't be a problem. Installation was a snap due to it's light weight.
I had a Maytag in the kitchen for 15 years. When it finally died, I was hoping to get an inexpensive replacement. Well, you get what you pay for. I have had this installed for less than a month, and I am shopping for another Maytag. - It cycles "weird"; seems to turn on and off for about 30 seconds in the first few minutes. - The dishes seem barely clean. Yes, they're clean (using Finish Max, they should be), but look as though they have a film on them when done. - The dry cycle does not work AT ALL. When dishes are done, I actually need to hand dry them. So if you have lots of dishes to wash by hand and a dishwasher is easier, this is fine. But if you're used to a dishwasher leaving dishes sparkling clean & completely dry, spend the extra money and get a different machine.
This dishwasher doesn't dry the dishes well, even with Jet Dry and after a year of use, started growing mold on top rack. I have to run dishwasher every month with bleach to kill mold. Won't buy Kenmore again, especially after their terrible customer service.
I especially love that people keep saying how quiet it is. It does a fabulous cleaning job and hasn't injured any dishes. So impressed with the bang we got for the small buck.
Our landlords replaced our broken 20-year old Bosch with this unit, and part of me wonders if repairing the Bosch would have been a better choice. First, it took a great deal of research and effort to do what I thought should have been simple: get the dishes clean. After experimenting with multiple soaps, rinse aids, boosters, dish positions, and dishwasher settings, I was finally able to get about half of the dishes clean. I really have to contribute the remaining fault to the dishwasher design. Silverware is typically hit and miss of whether the unit can successfully remove the residue. I can be flexible in that; however, I cannot be flexible about the complete and utter failure this dishwasher exhibits with top-rack cleaning. Mugs are left with residue inside, bowls emerge looking untouched; anything with a radius smaller than a good-sized cantaloupe dirty after a cycle 9/10 times. Ultimately, if you have anything that is designated "top rack only", spare yourself the grief and wash by hand. Truthfully, I wanted to give this dishwasher 1 star. But since half of it works (sort of), I gave it the 2. But honestly, if you're looking for a budget-friendly unit, stick to Craigslist and don't even bother with this. It lacks the ability to successfully do what it is supposed to.

This dishwasher was easy to install and does the job it claims to do. It is not good for stuck dried on food and pots. For everyday use it works. My biggest disappointment is how noisy it is. We just have to speed up the tv is all. Overall it was worth what we spent on it cause it does the job. You have to consider, of course we only had this dishwasher for about 11 days.
