On Clearance for $15

As the other guy said, this is being replaced with a Craftsman branded exact copy that has an MSRP of $40. Saw an HDE brand online elsewhere with a +20º to 716º range and 12:1 ratio for $14 so I guess this one is okay for $15.

Super Deal

The Extech Infrared thermometers 03414172 are still in some stores at under $20, being replaced by a Craftsman model. Excellent for finding cold spots around doors and windows or with temperature sensitive materials like caulking or wax. Accuracy within a degree or two measured with a conventional thermometer but easy to use, 9 volt battery included.

I would recommend this product to a friend.

Use this to verify my Oven temerature. Quick and accurate!

I bought this for myself to verify my oven temperature.  Using and in-oven thermometer causes you to open the oven to check it and therefore reducing the oven temperature  by 25 degrees or so.

I also use this to check all my cooking temperatures. So easy.  This is like what Alton Brown uses on his TV show!

Extech IR250 Laser Thermometer-Brilliant!

The Extech Infrared laser thermometer isn't the first non-contact laser temperature gun I've used. From the Craftsmans to the Flukes, I've worked with pro models and home guns that were all very reliable and accurate. It's nice to shoot cool HVAC spreads, Home heating problems or hot Engine troubles to determine temp indicators that reflect poor performance issues.

This Extech IR250 is no exception. It performs admirably, but at a great dollar value! It is a little more compact than others I've used, making it easy to carry in a pocket or in your tool belt. It's always ready to Aim and Fire...with instant temperature feedback readings that appear to be dead on accurate! Cool and useful homeowner tool, at a Cool Price!!

I would recommend this product to a friend.
