This chainsaw has never worked. I have had friends, family and even a professional tree surgeon try to fire this Oregon Earthquake 45cc chainsaw up to no avail. I replaced the spark plug, drained the fuel and replaced with premixed fuel. I did not ever get it to start! waste of money. I will probably avoid sears from here out.
I purchased this is Jan 2013 & has held up well. Cuts through everything with ease. Just now replacing chain although the original has been sharpened once. Replacement chain about $20 so reasonably price. I replaced a 14" Poulan and am much happier with this chain saw.

I bought this saw on sale from Sears about 3 weeks ago. I'm very happy with it. After assembly right out of the box this saw started on the 3rd pull. Now I've got 4 hours on it. I've cut pine, peach, maple, and oak with it. It cuts through these woods like they were warm butter. It's very easy to start. Very smooth, and the power has never left me wanting. I would recommend this saw to anyone.

2 complaints If you run out of gas, good luck trying to get it started right away. It will take you 10-15 mins of pulling, priming and swearing Poor position of kill switch, my gloved thumb constantly turned it off in the middle of a side cut.
Saw starts after three pulls, engine runs smooth with little vibration. The only complaint is when cutting harder wood the chain boggs down. However for the money its a good deal.
Works like a champ. It cut though 24" cherry logs with no problems. Only draw back with the saw is all plasic case, and its a little hard starting when you run out of gas, you have to let it set for about 5 minutes to get it started. Other than that its well worth the money.
