My wife's previous bypass pruners from another store had broken. I found these at Sears and bought them for her to use in her garden.
Initially I was a little disappointed to find that when I got home after buying them that they are no longer made in the US. But with all the quality issues that these pruners have I'm not at all surprised.
The pruners are sharp but don't appears as durable as her previous ones, which coincidentally only lasted one season. The locking mechanism sticks and is nearly impossible to operate with one hand. The handles are hard, oddly shaped and uncomfortable to hold for longer periods of time.
In retrospect, even with the lifetime warranty I would steer clear of these Craftsman Bypass Pruners.

I've found this sander to be very useful in my small woodworking shop. It's nice to have a central sanding station, ready to go at the flip of a switch, instead of dragging out the belt sander or Palm sander and an extension cord. The sanding center was very easy to unpack and setup. It has more than enough power to work in even the hardest material. The weight of the unit makes for a very stable platform for sanding small or large pieces of wood. I would enthusiastically recommend this unit to anyone setting up a small woodworking shop.

This was just what we needed for our yard. It is sharp and cuts through branches and stems up to half an inch or so in diameter. It feels like it will last a long time.

Cannot be used on thicker, or very hard shrubs! For typical twigs and branches, its GREAT. Very efficient. Goes on sale here and there once in a while, so grab a few!!

I bought this tool for my landscaping uses. It is such a good tool to cut down all the mid size trees easily. Craftsman is a brand for all my tool uses. I always recommend craftsman brand to my friend and family. And myself will only use craftsman brand as my daily uses.
Nonstick coated blade sliced into branch cleanly and easily. Strong metal construction weighs about 11 ounces. Locknuts look like they will keep tight. Used today for Fall pruning comfortably and precisely, with clean cut of bark.
These pruners are great! They are soft to the hands and the easy cutting makes the job so easy. I highly recommend these for yourself or they do make excellent gifts for family members.
I BOUGHT THIS PRODUCT BECAUSE I ALWAYS TRUST IN EVERYTHING THAT IS MADE BY THE BRAND CRAFTSMAN AND I DON'T HAVE NOTHING MORE TO SAY "THANKS THIS PRUNER IS VERY EFFICIENT...
As can be expected from a Craftsman product, these bypass pruners are very high quality. Exactly what I needed, for a price that was cheaper than other high-quality pruners.
sharp, leaves a clean cut. easy to use and clean, strong, durable, can cut the thickest branches. I bought some flimsy pruner, and broke the handle and it jabbed my palm. This will not do that. awesome product.
