craftsman tools are one of the best tools.when you make a purchase sears goal are that the customer are completely satisfied with that purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied simply return your purchase in it original packaging with your receipt.Great policy.
My wife's previous bypass pruners from another store had broken. I found these at Sears and bought them for her to use in her garden.
Initially I was a little disappointed to find that when I got home after buying them that they are no longer made in the US. But with all the quality issues that these pruners have I'm not at all surprised.
The pruners are sharp but don't appears as durable as her previous ones, which coincidentally only lasted one season. The locking mechanism sticks and is nearly impossible to operate with one hand. The handles are hard, oddly shaped and uncomfortable to hold for longer periods of time.
In retrospect, even with the lifetime warranty I would steer clear of these Craftsman Bypass Pruners.
Received on 2/13, assembled it and noticed the height adjustment lever was broken. Returned it to the store, received excellent service and reordered. Cannot comment any further then this.

Picked up these pruners on a sale at sears and they were delivered within a few days. The pruners are very heavy duty and are great quality. These pruners will last a lifetime.
They are sharp and cut very well. They feel heavy and solid, so I hope they will last some time. The locking mechanism is plastic and a little hard to move, but it locks securely. Got them on sale, definitely worth the price.
I got this product at a great buy and ordered it online. The store pickup was very easy and quick. I have never had a problem buying online and picking up at the store. Sears is a great place to shop and always has quality products.
Very surprised at the apparent quality of these pruners given that I paid less than $4 for them. They have a good weight to them and fit comfortably in my hand. The locking mechanism is easy to use even with gloves on. Since it is winter here in New England, they haven't been thoroughly tested, but worked well trimming some small branches on the Christmas tree. So far, I would recommend these.
i Just got it so i try it out on my house plants great I should have bought more for the price

cuts 2" branches ease. I use it quite a bit to trim tree branches and shurbs. After about 1 year of use, the unit is still sharp and cuts with ease. Afterall, its a craftsman.

Cheap pruner that does the job. I bought two of these and ones blade isnt quite aligned to allow it to bypass. I can bend it to fix but it wasnt correct right out of the box so i knock it down a peg.. Other then that these seem alright.
While this item is NOT made in the USA, its a good set of snips. Note that this are made for cutting live plants and not dead plants. I bought this set of snips on deal of the day and Im happy with the price. I would not buy these at the normal everyday price.
At first, I was a little put off by the price. However after shopping around the price is very comparable to similar models. Additionally, I was not thrilled with the fact that this craftsman product is made in China. After using it though, I do not regret buying it. Just pruner sheered through my rosebush with literally no effort. I would still buy a Craftsman tool over any other brand of tool
Currently we have two of these, one for me and one for my wife. We both think that the product works well, is reasonably priced and does what is is suppose to do. We have not owned long enough to see how durable it is but without doubt, I recommend it.
