Awesome Product!
It is middle of September and the temp just got up to 101 F in SoCal. I looked everywhere and thankfully Sears had 2 left. This product is amazing for the cost (under $100). We use it to cool our 12' x 15' master bed with tall vaulted ceilings. It is almost too cold! If you combine this with a cheap box fan and blow the cool air into the room is practically doubles the cooling factor.

Great but check performance
I only put this down in the the one star category so people may read. I bought two of these units and installed in identical windows on opposite sides of the house. It's a heavily tree'd lot so both in were in the shade. On a day w/ mid80s outside & high 70s inside, one blew cold air of ~50 degrees, but the other could only get down to low 70s and iced up on the evap coil (a sign of low refrigerant). I returned the one unit w/ no problem. Got a replacement and it works great. Putting this review out there as a warning not to just trash the whole model if doesn't work out of the box. There may be a few lemons. Overall, the two units now work great. Yes, a little loud and not great air flow control, but what do you expect for a little over 100 bucks. At least you're cool. Go spend 3X that and get a nice quiet one if you want.

Excellent Compact Window A/C
I was looking for an economical A/C to supplement the house central A/C system for a 12' x 12' bedroom on the West side of the house that the room temperature would average 10-15 degrees hotter than the rest of the house. This A/C works fantastic to cool down the room on low cool setting cooler than the rest of the house set at 76 degrees. I installed using a 2'x3'x3/4" plywood sheet screwed to inside window frame and cutout a hole for the A/C. This A/C definately was the best solution.

This is a great little window unit! It gets very cold and cools a room off quickly. This unit served us faithfully and well to cool off our tiny apartment for two summers until we moved. The installation instructions were ok, not as confusing as some. Over all it was well worth the $99 plus tax.

Bought for 10x11 sq ft room. Easy istallation took half hour (though needs burly man/woman muscles to pick-up). Makes nice white sound I enjoy at night. I usually keep it on "low" and still cools room nicely. Easy to use (I'm not a high-tech person) with low, medium, high dials; numbers 1-7 for air temp. Nearly flat profile outside of window. At $109, it's a steal!
